Terence Crawford and Thomas Dulorme meet at the University of Texas Stadium in Arlington, Texas and the winner will go home with the vacant WBO light welterweight belt that was vacated by Chris Algieri last year.

Crawford (25-0-0) returns to the super lightweight division for the first time since a win over Breidis Prescott in March 2013. In that time the Nebraska native fought five times at lightweight, winning the WBO World lightweight title. Crawford won the belt in Glasgow winning by unanimous decision against Ricky Burns before defending his crown in wins over Yukiorkis Gamboa (ninth round TKO) and Raymundo Beltran (unanimous decision). "Bud" decided after the win over Beltran that he would be moving up to junior welterweight and vacated his title on March 24th this year. Crawford was immediately installed as the WBO's number one contender and with the belt vacant he walks straight into a title shot.

Dulorme (22-1-0) has fought at welterweight for the majority of his career but decided to move back down just over a year ago and has had two wins at the weight since against Karim Mayfield and Henry Lundy. Dulorme has only lost once in his career to Luis Carlos Abregu in a welterweight bout back in 2012 and he was won six fights since. Dulorme will be an underdog in this fight but he should have a natural size advantage over Crawford and if he uses that he could cause an upset.

Also on the card at the home of the Texas Longhorns will be Medzhid Bektemirov (15-0-0), Skender Halili (8-0-0), Ismail Muwendo (16-0-0), Johnny Determan (9-0-0) and Anthony Barnes (7-0-0) as they look to maintain their perfect records but all eyes will be the main event between Crawford and Dulorme as they go head to head to crown the next WBO light welterweight champion of the world.
