'The Biggest Fight Ever' has now come and passed. As was expected, there is a plethora of views from the boxers themselves, fellow boxers and, of course, the ever present 'voice' in this generation of social media too.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. although he won, also made up for the lack of grace shown by Pacquiao and his camp, by coming out with some great quotes to the press in the post-fight conference;

"I once loved the sport of boxing. Throughout the years I lost the love for the sport,"

"I've made a decision to relinquish all those belts...Other fighters need a chance. Give them chances. It's time for other fighters to have chances at belts."

"I take my hat off to Manny Pacquiao. I see now why he is at the pinnacle of boxing."

"You guys was the one that said this guy can beat Floyd. Throughout the years 'Floyd is scared', 'Floyd is a coward', 'Floyd is a chicken'. You guys wrote those stories...I made you guys eat your words."

Floyd Mayweather Sr. also weighed in, choosing to remain as humble as his son in victory in the press conference; "He's [Mayweather Jr.] almost too good for his own good." "He's got nothing more to prove."

Before dispelling the moans of his son being boring... "When these guys are throwing punches and he's making them miss, people call that boring. They don't know boxing that's the problem."

Manny Pacquiao didn't have much to say on the fight, other than talking of his shoulder injury, and remaining staunch on his view that: "It was a good fight; I thought I won the fight."

"He's fast, he's a good boxer, you know, give credit to him. I fought a good fight, I did my best."

"He is moving around, not easy to throw punches when people moving around...When he stayed, I threw a lot of punches. That's a fight."

Freddie Roach at the post-fight press conference was almost as reluctant to congratulate Mayweather as his fighter:  "I thought he ran very well. When he wasn't throwing punches, he was just running and moving backwards. I feel Manny should have won a lot of those rounds because he was the aggressor."

Bob Arum in the post-fight conference added to the sore-loser tone of the Pacquiao camp, saying: "The ruling made tonight affected the outcome of the fight," in regards to Pacquiao's much talked about shoulder injury.

Lennox Lewis took to Twitter also to share his thoughts on the fight, prior to the match he tweeted: "Pax doesn't crack Mayvinci code! FM wins easily in my book!"

Before taking totackling the issue of the fight itself... "I think the fans showed up. Mayweather showed up... But Pac and a plan B never showed up. You have to be able to make adjustments!"

"Some ppl want blood & get disappointed when they don't get it. Doesn't take away from fact that Floyd is a great technician."

Barry McGuigan also took to Twitter: "Mayweather much to smart and to quick for Manny. Just as I predicted. Boringly one sided."

Mike Tyson was asked after the fight what he made of Mayweather: "It's his era, his time. He is in invincible mode now - no-one can stand with him at this particular moment."

Before tweeting..."We waited 5 years for that... #underwhelmed"

Frank Bruno on BBC Radio 5 Live: "As a boxer, you've got to admire him, he's got to go down as one of the greats."

Carl Froch who was ringside for SkySports Box Office programme said post-fight: "Mayweather was sharp, accurate. I wanted to see more from Pacquiao, I was disappointed."

"Was Pacquiao that poor, or Mayweather that good?"

Oscar De La Hoya was another to take to Twitter, and, arguably one of those most obviously peeved by the result of the fight:

"Call me old-school, but I like the fans getting their money's worth by watching an action-packed fight."

"I'm just not into boxing, running style. I like jumping out of my seat because a fight was existing."

As well as delivering a rather simple yet damning verdict, "Sorry boxing fans."

Evander Holyfield talking to ESPN: "I actually thought Pacquiao was doing well. I don't know how people scored the fight, I thought he was doing well."

He also took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the scoring: "That's crazy. I don't know how in the world...I don't know how they score that."

Shane Mosley was another who took to Twitter to share his thoughts with the public: "I don't know about the decision being unanimous, but it was close. It could go either way, rounds were close on my card."

An interesting one to end on was Amir Khan's thoughts which he shared with Sportsweek. He is thought to be one of the possible line-ups for Mayweather, should he wish to fight someone of note in his September bout he confirmed post-bout: "It was a classy fight. The mistake Manny made was to drop to Mayweather's pace."

Before dropping a not so subtle hint that he believes he'd be able to give Mayweather a tougher fight...

"To fight Mayweather you have to stick to your own pace, and that's something a younger fighter would do."
