One of the most consistent players on the Japan Tour continued his winning ways.

Yuta Ikeda, 29, entered the final round of the RIZAP KBC Augusta with a one shot lead. After going one over through four holes, several players found themselves tied for the lead. Ikeda, however, would turn on the jets, draining four birdies in a five hole stretch to shoot a front side 33. An eagle on the par 4 14th sealed the deal as Ikeda would end up shooting a 66 and cruise to a five shot victory.

Ikeda, who now becomes a two time winner of the event having first won it back in 2009, picks up his first win of the season. 2015 has been a struggle for Ikeda. He entered this week missing his last two cuts, though one of those events was the Open Championship. He has missed six total cuts in 13 events this season with only one top 10 finish, a solo fifth at the Musse Platinum Open. He entered this week ranked 216th in the world, his highest ranking since 2008.

Ikeda has been a consistent winner on the Japan Tour. The victory is Ikeda's 13th in his career, and he continues an impressive steak of seven straight seasons with at least one victory. His biggest victory was last year, when he won the Japan Open, which is considered the biggest tournament on the Japan Tour schedule. He won four times in 2009 and 2010, his career high thus far.

Finishing in solo second was Koumei Oda, the highest ranked Japanese player in the world behind Hideki Matsuyama. Oda fired a final round 69. It is Oda's fourth top 10 of the season, but he has yet to win in 2015. He was the money list winner in 2014, and in his most recent start, he made the cut at the PGA Championship.

Finishing tied for third was Australian Brad Kennedy, who has been knocking on the door all season. He is currently third in the money list standings despite not having a victory to his name this season. That is because Kennedy has finished in second three times and third once. A victory would likely boost Kennedy into the lead on the money list.

Tied with Kennedy in third place was Atomu Shigenaga. The 27 year old is playing in his third full season on the Japan Tour and is easily having his best season. His third place finish is his best finish in his career, and it also marks his second top 10 on the season. He entered 2015 having failed to notch a single top 10. He has only missed two cuts this season. Shigenaga will likely not have to worry about playing status for next season.

Rounding out the top five is a group of four players including Keiichiro Fukabori. The 46 year old was one shot back entering the final round and briefly held the lead on Sunday, but a back nine 37 ended his chances. Fukabori, who has not won in ten years, has really struggled this season, missing eight of eleven cuts. This is his first top 10 in two years. Fukabori hopes to improve on his career worst 1,327th position in the World Golf Rankings. His notable career highlights includes a T30 finish at the 2004 Open Championship.

Money list leader Kyung-Tae Kim finished T31.
