According to NewsOk and other sources, the Los Angeles Dodgers will move their Triple-A team to Oklahoma City. Currently, the Houston Astros have their Triple-A team there. If this deal ends up happening, the Astros will have to find another location for their Triple-A affiliate. The Los Angeles Dodgers supposedly want a new location that creates exposure to their prospects. Also, their current Triple-A team, the Albuquerque Isotopes, have a tough time playing in their location due to certain weather conditions. The RedHawks are rumored to be sold for at least $22 million.

Although the deal is not official, it seems as if they are very close. To clarify, this deal will only involve the team name and the location. The Astros will keep their AAA prospects but will have to find a new location along with a new name. Hopefully in the next few days, there will be more information released concerning this situation.
