CRACK! "Here's a ball hammered deep towards left field. Did he do it again?! It is off the net, a home run for Jesse Winker! Three straight games in this series with a home run for Winker!"

Although MLB.com's 33rd ranked prospect Jesse Winker may not have the most glamorous power numbers in Minor League Baseball (12 HR and 44 RBIs with a .274 average) the Orlando native is hotter than a summer day at Magic Kingdom right now considering he smashed a home run in his fourth consecutive game yesterday evening in Biloxi, Mississippi.

The 2014 All-Star Futures Game selection, who was chosen by the Cincinnati Reds with the 49th overall pick in the 2012 MLB Draft, has rebounded amazingly after hitting .236 through the first two months of the season by destroying Southern League pitching at  a .305 clip with 10 home runs and 33 RBIs since June 1 (63 games). In addition to his personal stat line improving drastically, Winker has the Pensacola Blue Wahoos (Double-A) fighting for the South Division crown with the Mobile BayBears (affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks) and the Mississippi Braves (affiliate of the Atlanta Braves) as they enter play only a half game back of the lead.

In fact, with the Cincinnati Reds' top prospect hitting a long bomb in four straight games, he is two away from tying a 19-year old SL record for consecutive games with a round-tripper (set by Derek Lee/6).

So with that being the case, make sure not to miss Jesse Winker's next game, tonight at 8:10 PM Eastern Standard Time, as he will be batting third against Orlando Arcia (MLB.com's 14th prospect), Brett Phillips (MLB.com's 38th prospect), and the Biloxi Shuckers (affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers).

You might just witness something amazing.
