Every time Mark Hamburger takes the mound, it is almost expected that he will pitch well, as after Monday's outing, he now has five complete games this season to go with his 11-0 record, the first time in league history that a pitcher has had that record.

Saints score early and often

He got plenty of run support, and it started early, as Brady Burzynski led off with a single to right field. He stole second and scored a few batters later when Trever Adams doubled, which also scored Tony Thomas to put the Saints up 2-0. Tony Caldwell followed with a home run to left field to extend it to a 4-0 lead before Tanner Vavra grounded out to end the inning.

The Saints got another in the second when Burzynski got a two-out single. He again stole second and scored when Breland Almadova doubled to right field. The inning ended when Thomas struck out swinging.

The third inning was the same story, as Angelo Songco and Adams led off the inning by going back-to-back with home runs to extend the lead further. Vavra then drew a walk, which was followed by Aaron Gretz singling. Vavra scored when Burzynski doubled for his third hit of the game.

After going down in order in the fourth inning, the Saints got two more in the fifth when Caldwell led off with a home run. Vavra followed with a walk, and he scored when Almadova singled to center field.

The Saints tacked on five more runs later in the game as insurance runs, but Hamburger did not need them, as he allowed no runs on just three hits, the first of which didn't come until the sixth inning. He picked up his 11th win of the season.
