It was a busy Friday evening on the farm, as the three of the San Diego Padres affiliates went into extra innings. Here is what is happening on the farm:

Fort Wayne 3, South Bend 1: Catcher Ryan Miller had a big evening, going 3-for-5, with the game-winning homer in the 12th inning. The homer was his 8th of the year. Shortstop River Stevens had two hits on the evening. Ronald Herrera (acquired in the Kyle Blanks deal) gave up just one run in five innings.

Salem-Keizer 5, Eugene 4: The Emeralds lost this one in the 14th inning. Cory Spangenberg started a rehab assignment with Eugene and went 1-for-5 on the night. Franchy Cordero hit his first homer of the year and had a pair of RBI's for the Ems.

Lancaster 13, Lake Elsinore 5: The Jethawks scored 11 runs in the first three innings to win this game in a blowout. Storm pitcher Coby Cowgill allowed 10 runs (five earned) in 2.2 innings of work. Catcher Dane Phillips had a homer (his fourth for the Storm) and three RBI's. Second baseman Benji Gonzalez had a pair of hits.

Tulsa 1, San Antonio 0: This game was scoreless until the 14th inning, where Tulsa won in a walkoff. Leonel Campos started for the Missions and pitched four shutout innings. Austin Hedges went 1-for-5, and his average is down to .239 on the year. Hunter Renfroe went 1-for-6 for San Antonio.

El Paso 4, Tacoma 3: Donn Roach started for El Paso and turned in a rather bizarre stat line. He allowed just two runs in six innings, but walked six and did not strikeout anyone. He has a 3.42 ERA on the year. Tyler Greene had two hits and homered for El Paso.
