2:03 P.M. EST: Almost gametime!

1:39 P.M. EST: Chicago White Sox lineup: 1.Adam Eaton-CF 2.Alexei Ramirez-SS 3.Jose Abreu-1B 4.Adam Dunn-DH 5.Dayan Viciedo-RF 6.Conor Gillaspie-3B 7.Alejandro De Aza-LF 8.Gordon Beckham-2B 9.Adrian Nieto-C Pitching - John Danks

1:35 P.M. EST: Tyler Flowers is not in the starting lineup for the White Sox. He had a major impact on this series in the first two games, providing the game-winning run.

1:29 P.M. EST: Houston Astros lineup: 1.Jose Altuve-2B 2.Enrique Hernandez-CF 3.Chris Carter-DH 4.Matt Dominguez-3B 5.Jesus Guzman-1B 6.Carlos Corporan-C 7.Robbie Grossman-RF 8.L.J. Hoes-LF 9.Marwin Gonzalez-SS Pitching - Jarred Cosart

1:26 P.M. EST: Jon Singleton and Jason Castro are also not in the starting lineup today as well (rest)

1:24 P.M. EST: Injury Update - Outfielder and slugger George Springer, is out for today's game with right knee/quad soreness.

11:14 A.M. EST: If the Astros can't find a way to create offense, this could be a long game for them.

11:13 A.M. EST: Both teams want to get the offense going. Although the White Sox won the first two games of this series, they don't want the Astros to keep threatening to come back late and win. They could always use insurance runs.

11:12 A.M. EST: Now are base hits a bad thing? Obiously not. This whole series has been relied on base hits. You don't always necessarily need that big home run to create seperation.

11:11 A.M. EST: Base hits were all the White Sox were getting off of Cosart back on May 17th. They could've easily won that game however if it weren't for Hector Noesi having a tough time on the mound.

11:10 A.M. EST: On May 18th back at Minute Maid Park, Matt Dominguez had himself a game off of John Danks, hitting two home runs, while driving in four runs. Chris Carter also launched a solo shot off of him. If Dominguez and Carter can provide some offense again today, then that would really help the Astros offensively.

11:09 A.M. EST: U.S. Cellular Field is known to be a hitter-friendly park. The first two games of this series were low scoring. We could be in for an offensive showdown today.

11:08 A.M. EST: In order for the White Sox to have success, they should work the count a little more. Throughout the series, they have been getting good looks when they make the pitcher work. Knocking Cosart out of the game due to a high pitch count could work in their favor due to the Astros known to have struggles with their bullpen.

11:07 A.M. EST: With the strikeouts mounting, and the offense lacking, the Astros really need to take advantage of the base runners that they get early on. In yesterday's game, they stranded runners who were in scoring position numerous times. If someone could step up, and provide that one clutch hit, they could really gain some momentum.

11:06 A.M. EST: The Astros really need to heat up on the offensive side. The first two games of this series were very well pitched. The White Sox just got clutch hits to win those games.

11:05 A.M. EST: Cosart last faced the White Sox on May 17th back in Houston, Texas. He ended up winning that game, only giving up 3 runs on 7 hits in five innings. A key to this game, is to keep the pitch count low, and have good command.

11:04 A.M. EST: Back on May 18th at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas, Danks had a rough outing. He gave up eight runs on ten hits, and only last 4 2/3 innings.

11:03 A.M. EST: Pitching for the White Sox is left-hander John Danks. Danks is 8-6 on the season with a 3.99 ERA.

11:02 A.M. EST: Set to take the mound for the Houston Astros today, is Jarred Cosart. A young right-handed pitcher with a lot of potential. Coming into this game, he is 9-6 on the season, with a 4.17 ERA. Could he get win number 10 today?

11:01 A.M. EST: The Houston Astros are very determined to take at least one game from the White Sox in this series after losing the first two games of this series. Both games were losses that were tough to have.

11:00 A.M. EST: Welcome to VAVEL USA's coverage of today's Houston Astros vs. Chicago White Sox game. Today is the final game of the three game series. The White Sox have one the first two games by slim margins. Could they complete the sweep?
