Gregor Blanco started off what Giants fans thought would be another run-packed night with a home run in the first inning, but the Royals fought back and would eventually cruise to a 7-2 victory in Game 2.

The Royals went up 2-1 after an Escobar double scored Infante. Belt came back with a double of his own scoring Sandoval to tie it at 2 in the 4th.

The Royals would open up this game in the bottom of the 6th. Strickland relieved Lopez when the score was 3-2 in the Royals favor, and would eventually give up a double by Perez that scored 2, and a home run by Infante that added another 2 runs. The Royals would stop their scoring in the 6th at 7.

The bullpen was statistically one of the best in the league this playoffs, and it just wasn't there tonight in the middle of the game. That is something that will hopefully be fixed for San Francisco going into Friday's game. Tim Lincecum also left Tuesday night's game after landing awkwardly after a pitch. Lincecum hasn't played much this postseason but not having him could become crucial for the Giants in the situations where they need a pitcher throughout the middle of the game.

If anyone thought this would be another Giants sweep, think again. The Giants are in a tough one this year, arguably the hardest World Series yet.

Friday night is Game 3, in San Francisco. On the mound for the Giants will be Tim Hudson and for the Royals it will be Jeremy Guthrie.
