Liam Hendriks' brief career with the Kansas City Royals is over as he's been traded to the Toronto Blue Jays for a minor league catcher named Santiago Nessy.

Hendriks' career has been a bit of a struggle as his career ERA is 5.92 and is still searching for his place in this league. He started the season with the Blue Jays but was traded in July for third basemen Danny Valencia. Hendriks only pitched in 19.1 innings with the Royals so it was no surpirse that Kansas City got rid of him as quickly as they did.

The 25 year old was signed by the Minnesota Twins back in 2007 out of Australlia and has yet to stand out at the major league level.
