The Oakland Athletics have traded third baseman Josh Donaldson to the Toronto Blue Jays, according to Ken Rosenthal.

In the trade, the A's will recieve Brett Lawrie, Kendall Graveman Sean Nolin, and Franklin Barreto, reports Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports.

Last season, Donaldson batted .255, with 29 home runs and 98 RBIs.

"At the end of the day, it's a business," Donaldson told Susan Slusser "as much as it hurts emotionally. The guys in that clubhouse are my brothers." Josh Reddick told Slusser "This doesn't make sense to me. We just traded our best player the last 2 years."
