Jesse Hahn tossed a four-hitter to help reach his first career complete game. Hahn and the Oakland Athletics shut down the Detroit Tigers, 4-0 on Monday in Game 1 of the three-game series in Oakland.

Oakland scored all four runs in the sixth inning. They snagged two RBI doubles, a sacrifice fly and an infield single to push themselves to a 4-0 lead over Detroit.

The only Detroit hitters to get a hit were Anthony Gose (1-for-4), Tyler Collins (2-for-4) and Nick Castellanos (1-for-4). It was a total lock-down performance from Hahn, who walked one (Yoenis Cespedes) in the win.

Shane Greene got the start for the Tigers and was dominant until the sixth inning. All in all, the righty went 5.2 innings and gave up four earned runs on eight hits. Greene struck out four on 89 pitches during the loss, which now places him at 4-3 with a 4.27 ERA.
