Prior to Johnny Cueto's last start against the Cleveland Indians, he felt stiffness in his elbow and was scratched before the first pitch. Cincinnati Reds fans and fantasy owners were nervous upon hearing the news and were hoping for the best when they heard Cueto would undergo an MRI.

The results of Cueto's MRI came back positive and showed no structural damage in his elbow. A huge sigh of relief came from Cincinnati when the Reds heard the news. Cueto will have a bullpen session tomorrow to test his elbow.

It is unknown if Cueto will be able to make his next start or not, but Reds fans just want him to be healthy. Cueto is the star of the Reds' rotation. Despite his 3-4 record, he has a 3.03 ERA, 0.96 WHIP, 60 K's, and only 12 walks in nine starts.

The Reds will need Cueto back and fully healthy as they currently sit at 18-26 and fourth in the N.L. Central as play begins on May 26. In addition, the Reds' rotation has not been the best this year as the other starters have combined for only 107 strikeouts and allowed 81 earned runs in 35 games.

Hopefully, Cueto will be back on the mound soon and can help the Reds win some more games this season. As for now, all they can do is wait and hope.
