According to ESPN's Buster Olney, the San Francisco Giants are looking for outfield help. Olney claims they will most likely turn to Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Gerardo Parra and/or Atlanta Braves outfielder Cameron Maybin

The Giants need the help because Hunter Pence and Nori Aoki are on the disabled list, leaving Angel Pagan, Gregor Blanco and Justin Maxwell as the starting outfielders. The team could use any extra help they can get.

The Braves are very open to discussion regarding Maybin. He has played his best baseball of his career this season. The team also has Eury Perez and Jonny Gomes to fill a role in the outfield for the season. Perez, 22, is young and is batting .282/.333/.308 over 16 games with the Braves. He has the ability to take over as a starting outfielder for a few years until outfield prospect Mallex Smith is ready to rock-and-roll.

Maybin is slashing .294/.363/.416 with seven home runs, 39 RBI and 15 steals, which is arguably the best of his career. Maybin was the key part in the Detroit Tigers trade, sending him to the Miami Marlins for Miguel Cabrera back in 2007. Maybin had never panned out like the Marlins expected. However, Cabrera turned into a two-time American League Most Valuble Player award winner.

Smith, 22, has played in Double-A and Triple-A during 2015. Overall, he has hit .315/.385/.389 with two home runs and 25 RBI. He has stole 27 bases, only being caught six times. He has played 69 games and has continued to be a super success in the minor leagues for the Braves. He is the outfielder of the future, along with left fielder Nick Markakis who signed a four-year deal in the winter.

Parra, 28, has been on fire lately. The outfielder ranks fourth in the National League, offensivley, since June 25. He is batting .333 (72-for-216) with six home runs and 22 RBI. However, during 2015, Parra has hit .306 with six home runs and 24 RBI. The comparison between the two numbers show how effective he has been recently.

The most likely player to be traded is Parra because, as FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reported, the Braves are pushing a trade involving third baseman Chris Johnson and Maybin. The Giants are not intrested in Johnson and will not accept a trade if he is involved.
