If you were hoping to see some great heavyweight matches this year (this weekend may not be great folks let’s be honest) two of the more exciting fighters in the division will be headlining the debut of the UFC in South Australia. Heavyweights Stipe Miocic (12-2) and Mark Hunt (10-9-1) will headline the fight night card. So far seven bouts have been announced for the card featuring a plethora of well known fighters from the last down under. The Fight Night will take place on May 10th in Adelaide, Australia at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.

Coming off an interim title fight against Fabricio Werdum, Hunt has experienced an up and down career in the UFC but is always one of the fan’s favorite. His one shot knock out power is must see TV and will have the crowd on his back as he faces one of the most athletic big men in the sport. Stipe Miocic who recently fought former champ Junior Dos Santos to a decision is looking to get back in the win column. A tough fought battle put Stipe in the spotlight as one of the best fighters in the division. His athleticism will have to be on full display but don’t expect this fight to go to the mat anytime.

UFC Fight Night Miocic vs. Hunt will also feature a stacked fight card of elite Australian and international mixed martial artists:

The always exciting Robert Whittaker (13-4) will be home to face Hawaiian fighter the number 15th ranked Brad Tavares (13-4) for an explosive co main event. UFC vet Anthony Perosh (15-8) also an Aussie fighter, faces heavy hitting Sean O’Connell (16-6) in a light heavyweight fight. Two undefeated prospects will lock horns in Melbourne Australia's Jake Matthews (9-0) and James Vick (7-0) at 155.

TUF 20 competitors and Aussie fighters, Bec Rawlings (5-4) and Alex Chambers (4-2) will both have opponents on the May 10th card.  Number 15 ranked Rawlings will face the number 14 ranked and possibly the least know strawweight to the UFC fan base in Seohee Ham (15-6) who fought an exciting match against Joanne Calderwood at the TUF 20 final. Chambers will face Kailin Curran (3-1) looking to notch her first victory in the UFC after having a full fight camp for her opponent.

Dylan Andrews (18-7) returns after a two tough losses to face his British fighter Bradley Scott (10-3) in a middleweight bout. Two Australians and former TUF Nations teammates Brendan O’Reilly (5-1-1) will battle Vik Grujic (7-5) in a welterweight clash in front of their native land.

Additional bouts and ticket information for UFC FIGHT NIGHT™: MIOCIC vs. HUNT will be announced in the coming weeks.
