The UFC card from Krakow, Poland has another women’s bout as the highly anticipated debut of Russian standout Alexandra Albu (1-0) faces off against Polish product Izabela Badurek (5-2). Both girls will fight at 115 and this will make this the third strawweight fight on the card. This marks the most female fights on a UFC card since the TUF 20 and 18. The Fight Night card will take place April 11th and feature a main event rematch between Mirko Cro Cop and Gabriel Gonzaga.

Unlike the other four strawweights on this card this this is a very intriguing fight not for rankings but just in general. Many have been waiting Albu to make her debut as she was slated to face Julie Kedzie back in 2013 but an injury forced her out all of 2014. Now she returns after staying very noticeable on social media and fan boy sites but she returns at 115. Alexandra seems to stay in great shape and looks petite so the 115 weight may not be an issue. For Izabela Badurek we will have to see as in her last fight she came in at around 143 pounds.

One has to question if this is the promotion pushing the envelope on their women’s division by having three strawweight matches. Whatever the case it’s great for the sport and this will be another exciting match up to get pumped for.
