Six-time Olympic Champion Usain Bolt had some choice words about his American rival Tyson Gay. Gay failed a drug test in May 2013 which he said was due to an unspecified third party. This is what Bolt had to say on the matter, "That sends the wrong message. If you do it and get caught, just tell us all you know and we'll lower your ban. It's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. The message should be: If you cheat you're going to be kicked out of the sport."

Tyson Gay was suspended for over a year by the USADA (United States Anti-Doping Agency) for the incident and is returning to action soon. Bolt was none too pleased for the suspension being a year saying, "I was really upset about that. He got a year just because he talked to the authorities about how it was done and who helped him.”

Bolt said he used to have a mutual respect for Gay because he pushed Bolt to work harder and do his best. Now, Bolt said he will no longer enjoy competing against the American. Gay defeated Bolt in the 2010 DN Galan meeting in Stockholm in the 100 meters and is the second-fastest man in the world, along with Jamaica’s Yohan Blake, running a 9.69 in the 100 meters.

Tyson Gay has already given back his silver medal from the 4x100 relay from the 2012 London Olympics, but officials are still deciding whether or not to strip the whole American team of second place.
