Game 2 of this matchup will be at STAPLES Center on Monday.

For the Clippers, they should not be too upset with the way they played, but rather losing Game 1 at home. Blake Griffin was in foul trouble all game, Crawford had his worst game as a Clipper, and they could not get over the hump in the 4th quarter.

Hats off to the Warriors as they needed to have some weird things happen in this game for them to win, undermanned. They got a lot of things to go their way, and after starting off very slow, picked it up and came out with the win.

I would not look at this game as a pre-cursor for the rest of the series, as this was overall an incredibly sloppy game, lots of turnovers and poorly officiated on both ends. 60 combined costless throws. 38 combined turnovers. 49 combined fouls. Ugly.

Shooting: Warriors 40-90, 44.4% - Clippers 36-85, 42.4%

FINAL - GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS 109 - LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS 105

He hits the 2nd. Chris Paul misses the shot, and the Warriors will win.

Thompson misses the first...

He misses the 2nd and on the scramble for the rebound the Clips step out of bounds. Absolutely insane finish to this game. Also weird, really weird.

Green misses the first. This is getting a little interesting.

Paul misses them both, and the Warriors come away with the rebound. Green will head to the line looking to put this one on ice.

Paul misses the first. Wow.

Warriors foul the Clippers right away. Paul to the line with 11.9 seconds left.

Will the Clippers go for two or for the three? Will Mark Jackson have his guys foul the Clippers to prevent them to shoot the three?

Barnes makes the second. Timeout Clippers.

Barnes misses the first.

Harrison Barnes is fouled by Matt Barnes. 13.9 seconds left.

It is Warrior ball.

Chris Paul looks like he dribbled it out of bounds with some tough defense from Green. It was called Clipper ball, but it may be switched to Warrior ball. 18.9 seconds left.

Paul, Redick, Crawford, Barnes, DJ on the floor for the Clippers trying to tie it up or take the lead.

Green hits both costless throws and Golden State leads 107-105 with exactly 24 seconds left.

Curry misses a shot, and Draymond Green gets fouled by Collison underneath. Green heads to the line.

Warrior ball with 37.7 seconds left.

Play is under review, looking to see if the ball went off Curry.

Chris Paul steals the ball, but a pass ahead to Collison goes off his finer tips and out of bounds. Game is still tied at 105.

Blake Griffin has fouled out as well. He exits with 16 points and 3 rebounds in 19 minutes.

Clippers force the Warriors into a 24-second violation. Clipper ball with 1:07 left.

Griffin hits two costless throws and the Warriors call a timeout. ALL TIED AT 105 - 1:31 left.

Harrison Barnes with an incredible play on defense, and he makes a three on the other end. Warriors lead by two.

Collison makes one, and the Clips take the lead 103-102.

Darren Collison steals the ball and is fouled by Thompson. Collison shooting costless throws out of the timeout. Crazy change of events at STAPLES.

Chris Paul from long long ways away. We are TIED at 102.

And with DJ chants ringing down the STAPLES Center he nails them both!

Mark Jackson tells his guys to foul Jordan twice. 43% shooter on the year. He makes the first...

Andre Iguodala picks up his 6th personal with 3:04 left. He's done. Clippers now have all of the momentum.

Chris Paul with a very, very deep three, and Warriors lead is now three at 100-97.

Warriors hit 100 first. There's that Ralph Lawler "It's The Law" thing again.

Missed shot by Steph Curry, but they don't get the offensive rebound. Iguodala misses the three, following though. Griffin goes down and makes a basket, 6-0 run by the Clippers. Warriors lead 98-94.

Ton of time left in this game. GSW offense is still stagnant. Clippers just can't take advantage. TV Timeout - Warriors lead 98-92, 5:07 left.

Jamal Crawford finally breaks out of his scoring slump. Warriors lead 98-90.

Klay Thompson with a huge three and the lead is back to double digits.

Golden State is very stagnant on offense, but the Clippers can't take advantage of the misses.

Big Baby trying to energize his team and the home crowd, with a great hustle play.

Warriors lead 93-84 with 9:33 left in the game.

Crawford is completely off. Absolutely bricks an outside shot. Jackson didn't like the last Warriors possession however, and calls a timeout.

Warriors just completely out-hustling the Clippers right now on the glass.

Great passing and bad defense from the Clippers and the Warriors lead by 11, 91-80.

Jermaine O'Neal begins the half with a dunk, but is also called for a technical foul, swatting the ball into the crowd.

Shooting: Warriors 32-67, 47.8% - Clippers 28-67, 41.8%

Warriors shoot 14-20 from the field in the quarter. David Lee has 10 points.

END OF THIRD QUARTER: Warriors 87 - Clippers 79

Golden State gets the last shot in the quarter.

Blake Griffin picks up his 5th personal. Paul is already on the bench with 4. Warriors lead 85-79 under 1 minute left in the 3rd.

Jamal Crawford and Darren Collison are a combined 2-12 from the field, and Crawford's only made field goal was a half-court shot to end the 1st qaurter. Need more production from them, especially with Paul on the bench with 4 fouls.

Transition offense strikes for the Clippers. Blake with a great feed to Redick. This game is tied at 79.

The scoring has slowed down, as it's become more of a half-court game the last couple minutes. Warriors lead 77-75. 3:41 3rdQ.

Warriors score a quick 4 points and they lead by 4. Clippers 20 second timeout.

You have to wonder what this game would be like if there weren't so many fouls in the first half.

J.J. Redick has 10 points in the quarter and is 4-4 from the field, including hitting two threes.

Warriors open the quarter shooting 9-10 from the field. Clippers are 8-12.

Curry. Redick. Paul. Tied at 73. This is awesome.

Harrison Barnes from three. THIS IS WHAT WE EXPECTED!

Curry and Redick exchange baskets. Redick has 18 points. Clippers lead by 1.

Chris Paul with a three off some great effort from Jordan. DJ is playing easily the best game in his playoff career.

Thompson and Redick exchange buckets again, but Klay's was a three. 64-63 Warriors.

Thompson and Redick exchange three's and we're tied at 61.

Clippers and Warriors tied at 58. 8:38 left 3rdQ.

Offensive foul on Andre Iguodala. His FIFTH FOUL in only 13 minutes of play. Unbelievable.

Blake has all 6 points for the Clippers. Iguodala and O'Neal have added buckets for the Dubs. Clippers lead 58-56.

Griffin with a HUGE left handed jam on O'Neal. You have to play him straight up. Lee tried to go for the steal.

Clippers ball to start the half, and Griffin quickly gets two points.

Also, will be interesting to hear about the status of Draymond Green. He hobbled back to the locker room, and he is definitely one of the most important players for the Warriors going forward.

A very sloppy half of basketball, but very entertaining. It will hopefully clean up in the second half and we will see how Blake Griffin works in to the mix, playing not even 4 minutes in the first half.

Foul Trouble: Total Fouls for both teams - 29...Clippers: Blake Griffin 3 - Matt Barnes 2 - DeAndre Jordan 2 - Chris Paul 2...Warriors: Andre Iguodala 4 - David Lee 3 - Marreese Speights 3 - Draymond Green 2

Turnovers: Clippers 9 - Warriors 12

Leading Scorers: Chris Paul 13 - Steph Curry 10

Shooting: Clippers 18-46, 39.1% - Warriors 18-47, 38.3%

HALFTIME: Clippers 52 - Warriors 52

A wild sequence, with Harrison Barnes all over the place on the offensive glass leads to a foul by Big Baby Davis. Barnes will go to the line and he makes both to tie it up at the half.

Five second violation out of the timeout. Terrific defense from the Clippers.

20 second timeout Warriors - Clippers lead 52-50 - 36 seconds remain.

Physicality has definitely picked up. When we thought there was going to be a better flow to this game mid-second quarter, it has slowed down again.

Speights has picked up his 3rd foul. Redick to the line for the Clippers, and he takes the lead back. Clippers lead 51-50.

Hilton Armstrong sighting for the Warriors. This is something we did not expect, but with the diminished front-line they really do not have any other options.

Clippers lead 49-48 with under 2 minutes to go in the half.

Draymond Green headed back to the locker room right before that last timeout. He slipped and fell on an earlier Clippers fastbreak and it did not look too good. Huge if he cannot come back.

Basket and the foul (David Lee's 3rd personal) gives the Clippers the lead again 49-47.

Finally, we have a flow to this game. Clippers lead 47-45.

Steph Curry with 5 quick points. Gives the Warriors a quick lead, but 4 quick points for the Clippers give them the lead back.

Draymond Green is guarding Chris Paul. Leaves a mis-match somewhere else, but early in this game you can tell Mark Jackson is setting the tone early in the series.

Not sure if I like Mark Jackson putting Iggy out there with his 3rd foul. Especially when you know Doc Rivers is going to keep Blake on the bench for the rest of the half. Jackson seems to be coaching a lot more desperately than Rivers is, especially with Bogut out.

Andre Iguodala has picked up his 4th foul at 5:46 of the 2nd quarter. Don't think I've ever seen this.

Klay Thomson three from the corner gives the Warriors a quick lead. Hard work underneath from Jordan, basket and the foul. Jordan misses the foul, offensive board on a tap-out and Paul hits the three. 5 point possession for the Clips and they lead 36-34.

Andre Iguodala, back in the game with 3 fouls, makes two costless throws, and we have a tie game.

Missed shot, turnover, foul, turnover, foul, missed shot, missed shot, turnover.

Both teams are now shooting 11-30 from the field. Only 36.7%. Foul trouble is the key to this game as Griffin and Iguodala are on the bench with 3. Lee and Green for GSW and Crawford for the Clips have 2.

Harrison Barnes hits a three after a Collison lay-up and Doc Rivers calls a timeout. Clippers lead 31-29. 8:54 left in the half.

Clippers lead 29-26. 9:30 2nd Quarter.

Cold shooting and offensive fouls plaguing both teams early in the 2nd quarter.

Blake Griffin heads to the bench with his 3rd foul.

Leading scorers: Chris Paul with 7 - Steph Curry with 5

Shooting: Clippers 10-23 43.5% - Warriors 10-24 41.7%.

END OF FIRST QUARTER: Clippers 29 - Warriors 24

Jamal Crawford from half-court at the buzzer!!

Quick shots on both ends and neither can convert. Both teams shooting 9-22 from the field as well.

Danny Granger makes his first appearance since the end of March. Receives a nice cheer from the home crowd.

Bad transition defense from the Warriors and a half-court alley-oop from the Clippers. Crawford to Jordan. Clippers lead 24-20.

Delay in the game, determining if it is a clear-path foul. Ruled no clear-path. Collison makes one of two costless throws. Clippers lead 20-17.

Iguodala with a very pretty up and under and the Clipper lead in now one. But Andre fouls Jamal Crawford on the other end and picks up his third foul with 3:35 left in the quarter. Clippers lead 17-14.

Great ball movement from the Warriors and they cut the lead to three coming up on four minutes to play in the quarter.

No doubt the referees were trying to take control of this game early. Chris Paul is trying to take advantage of the amount of whistles by trying and jumping into defenders to get a whistle. 10 fouls have already been called on both teams, and both are shooting under 35%.

Quick fast break for the Warriors, and Iguodala jams home the pass from Curry. Timeout Clippers. 15-10 LAC lead.

Warriors started the game 0-8, but now have made three shots in a row. With a J.J. Redick three-pointer mixed in it's 15-8 Clippers.

Steph Curry makes the first shot for the Warriors over four and a half minutes into the game.

Big Baby to DJ for a HUGE jam and it's 12-1 Clippers with 7:49 left in the 1st. Another timeout for Golden State.

Warriors open the game 0-6 from the field and have 4 turnovers. They will need to hit a ton of outside shots as they are overmatched underneath.

Blake Griffin checks out after picking up his 2nd personal. Big Baby into the game.

A couple offensive boards for the Clippers lead to costless throws for Chris Paul. Clippers lead 10-1 with under 9 minutes to play in the first.

Jermaine O'Neal grabs an offensive rebound and is foul on the way up by Griffin. He makes one of two, to give Golden State their first point 2:40 in to the game.

Andre Iguodala picks up his 2nd personal foul with 9:50 to play in the 1st. Mark Jackson leaves him in. Beautiful pass for Redick on a backdoor cut from Griffin, and Blake finishes with a jam. Timeout Warriors. 7-0 Clippers.

Chris Paul from three and it's 5-0 Clippers.

Blake Griffin with the turnaround right handed jump hook. 2-0 Clippers.

DeAndre Jordan picks up an offensive foul of his own.

David Lee with an early offensive foul. Elbows Blake Griffin in the face.

Warriors win the tip, and we are underway!

Both Redick and Granger will be playing in this game. In fact, this is the first time the Clippers will have a completely "healthy" roster since November 18th.

The Clippers are dealing with their own injury bugs, as Griffin had an issue with back spasms over the course of the last few weeks of the season. He only missed one game due to that issue, and also missed the last game of the season in Portland, after he received his 16th technical foul of the year. That could have been a blessing in disguise as it gave Griffin some extra rest. J.J. Redick has been very efficient for the Clippers, just as long as he stays on the court. He fractured his hand earlier in the season, and has been dealing with numerous issues throughout the rest of the season. His health is key as a role player, for the Clippers to make a deep run. Danny Granger also has been out since March 27th with a strained hamstring.

The Warriors got some bad news earlier this week when center Andrew Bogut was ruled out indefinitely with a fractured rib. This is not the only guy with injury troubles for the Dubs. David Lee has been bothered with a hamstring issue, and he has been a game-time decision for about the last month. Both of these front-line guys are extremely important for the Warriors, to keep DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin off the glass.

In the four meetings during the year, the home team won every game, with only the Christmas Day game at Golden State being decided in single digits.
