Jarron Collins, twin brother of NBA player Jason Collins, has been hired by the Golden State Warriors as an assistant coach.

Collins was most recently with the Los Angeles Clippers as a scout. He has ties with Warriors owner Joe Lacob and played for Steve Kerr’s Phoenix Suns in 2009.

The Warriors continue to fill out their coaching staff. Kerr hired Alvin Gentry a few weeks ago as his associate head coach and later hired Ron Adams. On Wednesday, Golden State added Luke Walton to its coaching staff as well.

This would be Collins’ first stint as an assistant coach. Jarron Collins played in the NBA for four different teams across 10 seasons.
