Kent Bazemore and the Atlanta Hawks have reached an agreement on a two-year, $4 million deal, reports Marc Stein of ESPN. The deal includes no options. It is fully guaranteed.

Bazemore started his career with the Golden State Warriors where he saw limited minutes. However, his career kicked off with the Los Angeles Lakers once he was traded to L.A. before the trade deadline last season.

Out of 23 games with the Lakers, Bazemore earned 15 starts and averaged 13.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.3 steals. He also improved his field goal percentage from 37 percent to 45 percent with Los Angeles.

Bazemore flourished with the Lakers, but he will most likely play in a reduced role with the Atlanta Hawks, who already have three wing players – Thabo Sefolosha, Kyle Korver, and DeMarre Carroll.

The Atlanta Hawks still have around $9 million in cap room to pursue other players. They have interest in Luol Deng and Pau Gasol. In fact, they have offered Gasol a deal that would pay him $11 million annually, but he is most likely going to pass since he wants to play for a contender.
