The newly acquired Miroslav Raduljica will be waived by the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday, according to RealGM’s Shams Charania.

The 7-foot big man has two more years remaining on his contract, but the Clippers do not want extra salary on their pay roll.

Raduljica was traded from the Milwaukee Bucks to the L.A. Clippers on Tuesday along with Carlos Delfino. The Clippers sent Jared Dudley plus a future first-round pick to Milwaukee.

The Clippers may reportedly waive or use the stretch provision on Carlos Delfino, too. The point is to shed as much salary as they can. Besides, the 32-year old was sidelined all of last season with a foot injury and could sit out this upcoming season as well.

All these forthcoming moves may be an indicator that the Clippers plan to sign a costless agent or two. Ekpe Udoh has already met with the Clippers and seems to be a strong candidate at the moment. Perhaps, Emeka Okafor and Andray Blatche are additional candidates since they worked out for the Clippers earlier in August.

Nonetheless, the Clippers, who most recently gave Doc Rivers a five-year, $50 million contract extension, are attempting to clear cap room to sign other costless agents that would not demand a large sum.
