The Detroit Pistons have reached an agreement with former North Carolina State star Lorenzo Brown on a one-year contract, reports RealGM.

Brown, a 6'5 combo guard, who was selected with the 52nd overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves, will attend the Pistons' training camp.

The Pistons are now carrying 17 men on their roster and will need to cut it down to 15 before the pre-season. With that being said, Brown's chances of making the team are very slim.

However, the Pistons recently bought a new D-League expansion team, the Grand Rapids Drive, and Brown will likely report to Grand Rapids if he does not make the cut.

The 24-year old played in 26 games with the Phildelphia 76ers last season, averaging 2.5 points in 8.6 minutes. He spent most of the season with the Sixers' D-League affiliate, the Delaware 87ers, before being waived on March 14th and later claimed by the Springfield Armor.

He averaged 17.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 6.3 assists between the 87ers and Armor last season.

Brown was bound to play for Reyer Venizia of Italy for the 2014-2015 season, but his contract was voided on September 5th due to failed physicals.
