The Minnesota Timberwolves have offered Eric Bledsoe a four-year, $63 million maximum deal, according to ESPN. Minnesota is attempting to land Bledsoe via sign-and-trade, something the Phoenix Suns have been looking to do for quite some time since they are unwilling to give Bledsoe a max contract.

The Timberwolves have been attempting to acquire Bledsoe for a while and are now making a final push. In any case, Kevin Martin may be one of the main pieces going back to Phoenix, but there is no indication of that yet.

Earlier in the off-season, Bledsoe declined a four-year, $48 million offer from the Phoenix Suns. The 24-year old told Phoenix that he wants a maximum contract, otherwise no deal. As a restricted costless agent, Bledsoe has not drawn much interest around the league.

Another choice for Bledsoe could be to accept the qualifying offer from the Suns and become an unrestricted costless agent next summer, similar to what Greg Monroe has done with the Detroit Pistons, but that is something that does not interest Bledsoe as well.

Phoenix’s plan has always been to keep Bledsoe intact, but they would not give him what he wants contract wise. Minnesota, on the other hand, would love to acquire Bledsoe to add him to their already young, promising roster. They believe Bledsoe would be a terrific fit with Andrew Wiggins and company.

Eric Bledsoe’s relationship with the Suns has completely gone down the drain over the past couple of months. It is extremely likely that they decide to the trade him eventually, but it is reported by Yahoo! Sports that the Suns have no interest in Minnesota's sign-and-trade offer.

Bledsoe had an incredibly productive season with the Suns, averaging 17.7 points, 5.5 assists, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.6 steals per game. He would indeed make for a great addition to the Minnesota Timberwolves, if they are able to somehow acquire him.
