As the off-season winds down, Eric Bledsoe is still a costless agent, and the Phoenix Suns seem to have no interest in giving him a maximum contract and would like to sign-and-trade him, which means there may be a huge forthcoming move by Phoenix. However, the Suns have done a wonderful job with the moves they have already made this summer.

The best move for them was signing Isaiah Thomas. The 5-foot-9 point guard had a career year with the Sacramento Kings last season, averaging 20.3 points and 6.3 assists per game. For Phoenix, he will play the sixth man role. Thomas will provide plenty of scoring, play making, and offensive energy off the Suns bench. Phoenix had one of the best benches last season, and it could only get better with the addition of Thomas.

Moreover, the Suns re-signed P.J. Tucker. Tucker has been Phoenix’s best wing defender and has been gradually improving his offensive game as well. He really bettered his three-point shooting last season as he made 38.7 percent of his threes.

To add further shooting to its second unit, Phoenix also acquired Anthony Tolliver via costless agency. Tolliver may serve as Tucker’s backup and will enhance more three-point shooting to a team that was already one of the best from beyond the arc last season.

The aforementioned moves have been great for the Phoenix Suns, but it would be even better if they could somehow keep Eric Bledsoe. The Suns won 48 games last season and were one win shy of making it to the playoffs. Bledsoe had a lot to do with their surprisingly successful season last year, so it would be brilliant if Bledsoe and the Suns could restore their relationship and reach some kind of an agreement soon. Though, no matter what happens with Bledsoe, the Suns will still manage to add more talent to their roster before the off-season ends. Additionally, they may soon acquire Goran Dragic’s brother, Zoran Dragic, who will be an exceptional addition to the team.
