Nikola Vucevic and the Orlando Magic have agreed to a four-year, $54 million contract extension, according to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports. Vucevic's new contract is going to be fully guaranteed.

Vucevic was eligible for a contract extension until October 31st. The Magic will look to give Tobias Harris an extension as well in the next few days.

The Magic have made it clear that Vucevic and Harris will be part of their foreseeable future. Vucevic has averaged 13.6 points and 11.5 rebounds per game since joining Orlando in 2012. He has been slowly emerging into a top center in the league.

Unfortunately, Vucevic dealt with ankle injuries last season, missing 25 games of the regular season. However, he is already having a fantastic preseason, averaging 15.2 points and 7.4 rebounds on 53.9 percent shooting. Vucevic has improved his mid-range shot and mid post game over the last couple of years, and he has now solidified himself as the future center of the Magic, becoming the successor to Dwight Howard.

Victor Oladipo, Tobias Harris, and Nikola Vucevic are the trio that the Orlando Magic will satisfy themselves with for the next few years and build around them.
