With Andrew Wiggins sitting out for the night, his fellow Canadian Anthony Bennett took good care of business at home scoring 17 points to rout the Indiana Pacers 107-89.

The Pacers went on a strong start hitting the first four of their five shots to take a 9-0 lead. Kevin Martin and the Timberwolves went on a 21-10 run to take a two point lead at the end of the first quarter.

Minnesota went on a shooting exhibition in the second making five straight buckets to take a 36-28 lead. Bennett scored 11 of his 17 points in the first half to boost the Timberwolves run late in the second who grabbed a 52-37 lead at the half.

The Timberwolves continued their excellent play as they took their biggest lead 71-50 late in the third. Despite the hot-shooting by Minnesota, Donald Sloan and Roy Hibbert kept the game close at the end of third 82-63.

All hope was lost for the Pacers but outside shooting paid dividends as they cut the lead to 14 with seven minutes left to play but the Timberwolves went on to score the next nine points to take the game away for the Pacers 107-89. Anthony Bennett led the Timberwolves with 17 points and five rebounds, as Mo Williams added 13 points and nine assists. Donald Sloan piloted the Pacers offense with 19 points, three rebounds, and five assists.

The Timberwolves will head to Milwaukee tomorrow to avenged their loss against the Bucks last week. The Pacers will face the Hornets on Friday.
