Lance Thomas entered training camp signing a non-guaranteed deal with Western Conference powerhouse, the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Duke Blue Devil product went undrafted in 2010 but made his way into the league in 2011 playing for the New Orleans Pelicans, posting career averages of 3.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 0.3 assists while playing a total of 106 games.

The Oklahoma City Thunder saw his potential to be a good role player this year after he displayed a solid performance in six preseason games, averaging 4.8 points and 4.5 rebounds in just 21 minutes of play per game.

Thomas will be backing up the likes of Serge Ibaka and Nick Collison as the Thunder will try to win the Larry O'Brien trophy this year. On the other hand, Oklahoma released Michael Jenkins, Talib Zanna, and Richard Solomon.

With Kevin Durant and Anthony Morrow out for an extended amount of time, the Thunder could really use the depth.
