The Warriors kicked off the season with a big road win over the Kings 95-77.

Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 24 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists in the stomping of the Kings. Next in line for the Dubs was Klay Thompson with 19 points and 6 assists. The Warriors were without David Lee and Bogut playing little and still managed to get it done by rolling with the small lineup.

We went to that lineup for pace, and that’s always going to be an option for us,” Kerr said. “That’s the beauty of having this roster. I can’t believe how lucky I am with my first team to have this type of versatility and tough-minded guys.”

The Kings were led by DeMarcus Cousins with 20 points, 11 rebounds, and Rudy gay with 14 points and 9 rebounds. Collison also chipped in 13. The Kings shot just 30% as a team for the game, and 16% from three. It was clear how inefficient they were as shots just weren't going down for them.

We turned into the Keystone Cops,” Kings head coach Michael Malone said.

A way to start off the season for the Kings, that's for sure. During the preseason the Kings didn't look terrible as far as shooting and offensively, it was just one of those nights that they just didn't have it. The Kings at least got out an embarrassing game out of the way.

The Warriors continued where they left off after preseason, where they outscored opponents by and average of over 15 points. They shot 44% tonight but just 22% from three. It was also an inefficient shooting night behind the arc for Golden State.

The Warriors will play the Lakers on Saturday for their second game of the season and the Kings will play Friday against the Trail Blazers.
