When it looked like the Chicago Bulls would run away with another win at the dispense of the Cleveland Cavaliers, LeBron James would not be denied victory for a second night as he led his team to a 114-108 victory in overtime at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

"It was an opportunity to go out and redeem ourselves, and I was happy with the outcome," James iterated following their victory.

The biggest concern for the Bulls, however, was the health of Derrick Rose. He sat out for a majority of the fourth quarter as he was in the locker room getting treated for an ankle injury as he hobbled off the court.

"The gods, they're testing me right now, man," said Rose after the game, but it does not appear that the injury is serious. Kirk Hinrich exploded in the fourth quarter for Chicago as he went 7-11 from the field to go along with four rebounds, four assists and ended the night with 20 points with Rose sidelined much of the second half.

Chicago's bench also performed very well tonight with three getting double figures (Taj Gibson 10 points, Tony Snell 10 points, and Aaron Brooks finished the night with 11 points). But you could tell that fatigue was starting to set in late in the game, even though they were the fresher of the two sides tonight.

The Cavaliers played much better than they did last night. They took better control of the ball as they only had nine total turnovers as a team and had eight steals as well. James scored half of Cleveland's points in the overtime period. Kyrie Irving was phenomenal tonight, scoring 23 points and provided three assists as the team finished with 18 total assists.

Kevin Love had another great performance as he grabbed 16 boards, while dropping 16 points. But probably the most impressive performance was that of Tristan Thompson as he grabbed a whopping 12 offensive rebounds, which is really unheard of for anyone coming off the bench, but he also finished shooting 7-13, with 16 points for the night.

Cleveland will take the road once more as they face the Portland Trail Blazers in Oregon on November 4, while the Chicago Bulls play the Minnesota Timberwolves tomorrow evening in Minnesota.

Both the Bulls and Cavaliers now own a 1-1 record.
