Final: Rudy Gay Post-Game. "Me and Cousins have to learn how to make our teamamtes better and we have to learn how to win games."

"This is the place where I think I can expand my game, and win some games and help rebuild this franchise."

Final: Derrick Rose was questionable tonight, him and Pau Gasol have a good chance of playing in the next game, and will certainly return against Utah on Monday.

Final: Jimmy Butler had another strong showing for the Bulls. He finished with 23 Points and 8 Rebounds. Joakim Noah struggled with fouls but got 10 Points and 11 Rebounds, on-par with his season averages. The Bulls couldn't keep up with Sacramento's 3-Point shooting (26 percent) and they fall to  8-4 on the season and lose their first road game. They travel to take on Portland tomorrow night.

Final: Cousins and Gay combined for 42 Points and 7 Assists. Kings shoot a ridiculous 66 percent from deep, 51 percent from the floor and improve to 7-5 on the season. They will take on the Timberwolves Saturday at 8:00 PM EST.

4th Quarter (0:00): Kings fans excited after big win over a good team, despite the Bulls missing two starters in Rose and Gasol.

4th Quarter (0:00): FINAL: Kings 103 Bulls 88.

4th Quarter (2:00): Cousins has been a beast tonight with 20 points and 13 rebounds.

4th Quarter (5:28): Butler with a great drive to the hoop, Bulls trail Kings  90-82.

4th Quarter (7:50): Noah mises the jumper but Butler tips it in for the hustle play. Kings lead 88-77.

4th Quarter (11:16): After Noah airballed a seemingly open layup, Bulls get the ball back and rookie McDermott goes to the line.

4th Quarter (12:00): Butler and Cousins lead all scorers with 16 points each. Brooks with 12 points off the bench for Bulls.

3rd Quarter (0:00): The Bulls trail the Kings 80-68 after three quarters of play. The Kings went on a 13-4 run during the 3rd.

3rd Quarter (0:19): Caspi, who is averaging 16 PPG, checks in for the Kings.

3rd Quarter (1:30): Brooks hits the driving shot of high glass as he tries to bring the Bulls back.

3rd Quarter (3:04): Kings are running, as McLemore hits the fast break layup and the Kings take an eleven point lead that forces Chicago to call time. The Bulls will likely be without Noah for the remainder of the third quarter and a good portion of the fourth.

3rd Quarter (4:30): Noah close to getting tossed from this game. Nice acting job from Cousins as he baits Noah's fifth foul, and he takes a seat.

3rd Quarter (5:05): Dunleavy hits the baby hook and on the other end, Noah picks up his fourth foul.

3rdQuarter (8:45): Thompson with the rejection and it turns into a McLemore 3-Pointer on the other end for the Kings. Great execution.

3rd Quarter (10:13): Cousins with a great offensive board and put back, Kings lead by 5 early in the seocndh alf.

Halftime: Kings are honoring Bibby and Webber tonight, part of those great early 2000's teams with Christie, Divac and Bobby Jackson.

2nd Quarter (0:00): Hectic finish to the first half as Kings are called for the flagrant. Bulls hit both from the stripe, but trail the Kings 52-47 heading to the third. Butler with 10 for Chicago and Gay with 13 points and 6 rebounds for the Kings.

2nd Quarter (0:12): Noah frustrated after being called for the loose ball foul. Thompson splits from the line.

2nd Quarter (2:09):  Of course Sacramento plays some old school Dr.Dre during play, bringing some west-coast flare.

2nd Quarter (3:00): Gay answers the Dunleavy jumper with a driving floater from 8 feet away. Then he hits a sensational And-One drive a couple plays later, Kings lead 47-41 with about 2 minutes left in the half.

2nd Quarter (4:55): Cousins with the Tim Duncan-esque shot off the high glass.

2nd Quarter (5:54): Kings tie it up at 35 a piece on the drive from Gay as the Bulls have cooled down after their hot first quarter.

2nd Quarter (7:22): Brooks with the ugly turnover after the high floater the play before. Always has been a spark off the bench but can get a little out of control.

2nd Quarter (8:50): Derrick Williams with the killer move right at Noah for the And-One as the Kings trail 33-30.

2nd Quarter (10:45): Good screen by Landry as Sessions hits the mid range jumper.

2nd Quarter (12:00): Bulls start hot from down-town, as Mirotic, Hinrich, Dunleavy and Brooks all hit from 3-point range.

1st Quarter (0:18): Easy to forget that Kings Derrick Williams was a number two overall pick three years ago. He splits from the line and the Bulls lead 29-22 at the end of the first quarter.

1st Quarter (1:20): Gibson posts up and gets the roll. Bulls out-playing the Kings early on.

1st Quarter (2:57): Bench players finding early strokes as McLemore hits for the Kings and Brooks drains a 3 on the other end.

10:57 PM EST: Cousins draws the charge from Jimmy Butler heading into the timeout as the Bulls lead 13-12.

10:54 PM EST: As Chris Webber reminisces about the last time the Kings were relevant, Cousins posts up and hits an easy lay-up. Dunleavy hits a 3 on the other end. Bulls lead 10-9 early on.

10:51 PM EST: Hinrich hits a floater for the Bulls second shot of the game but gets slapped with a technical for shoving DeMarcus Cousins after the play.

10:49 PM EST: Rudy Gay drives to the hoop and scores, Kings take early 4-0 lead.

10:43 PM EST: Bulls are 7-0 on the road this season, their starting five will be Hinrich-Butler-Dunleavy-Gibson-Noah.

10:38 PM EST: Kings-Bulls will begin in just a few moments as TNT's first game wraps up. The Miami Heat fell to the LA Clippers by the score of 110-93.

On the flip side, veteran Carl Landry, who was injured last season, has been performing. He battled a hip injury after a signing a four-year deal in the summer of 2013, but this year, he's averaging about 10 points and 4 rebounds per game in about 20 minutes per contest. His presence has added depth to an otherwise thin roster for Sacramento.

The Kings have been disappointed with PF Jason Thompson, who they have been trying to develop for a few years. He has been averaging just around four points and six rebounds this season has yet to develop a reliable post-game.

The playoff picture in the Eastern Conference looks much softer than the West once again, as the Kings will have to battle to sneak into the post-season. Teams such as the San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks are looking strong early, as well as the Golden State Warriors

The Bulls were blown out 99-79 when they visited the Kings last season, but took down Sacramento at home 94-87. The Bulls will be playing their second game of a six-game West Coast swing. The depleted Chicago team will travel tomorrow to play the Blazers and Damian Lillard, who has already evolved into an elite point-guard in just his third season.

Sacramento lost dynamic point guard Isaiah Thomas over the off-season to the Phoenix Suns but Darren Collison, who came to the Kings from the Clippers in the off-season, has filled in nicely. He is the team’s leader in assists at 6.5 and steals, at just over 1.5 per game.

For the Kings, it has been the trio of Darren Collison, DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay leading their offensive attack. Gay and Cousins are both averaging over 20 points per contest, with the latter also averaging 11 boards. Omri Caspi has been a dynamite off the bench, averaging 16 PPG and shooting 51 percent from the floor.

With D.J Augustin leaving for Detroit in the off-season, Kirk Hinrich will likely be starting for the Bulls tonight. Hinrich, the crafty veteran and long-time Bull, has been averaging just under 10 points and four assists this season. Derrick Rose was questionable for this game, like Gasol, but they will both be sitting against the Kings

Young shooting-guard Jimmy Butler has been averaging 21.3 PPG and shooting over 50 percent from the field. He has been leaned on for his offensive ability with the absence of Derrick Rose. Newly acquired Pau Gasol has been steady, as expected, averaging 18 points and 10 rebounds, but suffered a calf injury in the Bulls last game. He will be inactive against Sacramento, as 6th man Taj Gibson will likely start in his place, alongside Mike Dunleavy and Joakim Noah in the frontcourt.

Sacramento, at 6-5, have gotten off to a better start than they have in recent years, while the Bulls are 8-3, proving themselves early as one of the toughest teams in the Eastern Conference

The Bulls, in their last game, took down the Los Angeles Clippers 105-89. Jimmy Butler led all scorers with 22 points and Joakim Noah finished with 11 points and 16 rebounds in that contest.

The Kings are coming off of a 106-100 loss against the New Orleans Pelicans, and their game against Chicago will be their second of back-to-back home games.

Good evening and welcome to VAVEL USA’s live coverage of the National Basketball Association. Our game tonight pits the Central Division leading Chicago Bulls (8-3) against the Sacramento Kings (6-5) from Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento.

10:25 P.M. EST: Game tips off in 5 minutes, Pau Gasol and Derrick Rose are not dressed, will sit tonight versus the Kings.

10:20 P.M. EST: Suns PG Eric Bledsoe said recently that he thought the University of Kentucky Mens Basketball team could beat the winless Sixers and Kings Center DeMarcus Cousins agreed. Wow, that's pretty harsh guys. I don't know that I disagree, but still.

10:15 P.M. EST: “Jimmy Butler, what can you say,” swooned Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau again. “When that game was on the line he made big play after big play. He’s playing great basketball.”

10:10 P.M. EST: The Kings recently did an ugly sweater photo-shoot with osme of their players. They better hope this game doens't get ugly, because though they have been playing well, the Bulls have been tough their past few games and come in with an 8-3 record.

10:05 P.M. EST: Bulls Shooting-Guard Jimmy Butler has quietly been one of the best at his position this season. He is averaging over 21 points per game, and is coming off a 22 point, 8 rebound and six assist performance against the Clippers.

10:00 PM EST: The Bulls limited the Clippers to just two fast break pointsi in their last game. We will see if they are able to do the same to the Kings, who do like to run the floor.
9:55 P.M. EST: The Sacramento Kings and Chicago Bulls will tip-off in 35 minutes.
