1st Quarter (12:00): We are underway!

9:11 P.M. EST: Xavier Henry and Jordan Clarkson played in the D-League last night. Henry is out of the rotation and is trying to shake the rust to find minutes. Both Henry and Clarkson had terrific games again.

8:40 P.M. EST: The Nuggets have beaten the Lakers six straight times.

8:18 P.M. EST: Carlos Boozer will not play tonight due to a shoulder injury. Ed Davis will get the start.

7:46 P.M. EST: The Lakers have three injured players of course and during Saturday's practice Jeremy Lin and Carlos Boozer were held out. However, they are in no real danger of missing this game. They were held out only for precautionary reasons. The Lakers currently place in the 14th seed in the Western Conference with a 3-10 record.

7:45 P.M. EST: The Nuggets are coming into this match with a fully healthy lineup which is surprising due to the hoards of injuries they suffered last season. They currently rank 11th in the West with a 5-7 record.

7:44 P.M. EST: The Lakers have a four-game home stand starting this game. They will need to take advantage of this part of their schedule, even though two of the four teams are the top teams in each conference.

7:43 P.M. EST: The Lakers must feel a bit proud of themselves as well, as they came out of their tough three-game road trip with a 2-1 record. However, their last loss was demoralizing, as they were crushed by 34 points due to Dallas' hot shooting ,especially from beyond the arc.

7:42 P.M. EST: The Denver Nuggets are coming into this game with a three-game winning streak, including a win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. They are on a hot streak and have a lot of momentum.

7:41 P.M. EST: Jeremy Lin played well against the Mavericks but the key with him as been consistency this season. Let's see if he can put together back-to-back games of double digit scoring against a more inferior opponent.

7:40 P.M. EST: Thanks to Jordan Hill, the Lakers are the best offensive rebounding team, but they are bottom 10 in defensive rebounding, and it's mainly because they haven't played enough defense and haven't made enough stops for there to be many defensive rebounding chances. On the other hand, the Nuggets are a solid rebounding team.

7:39 P.M. EST: Just like the Lakers, the Nuggets are another awful defensive team, as they rank in the bottom five in defense. But then again, just like the Lakers, they rank top 10 in offense. So can we expect a really high scoring game? Absolutely.

7:38 P.M. EST: We saw the Lakers bench struggle against the Dallas Mavericks bench on Friday night. This is another game where the Lakers bench will have to definitely step it up, as Denver's bench is slightly better than Dallas'. They have guys like Nate Robinson, another Laker killer, Randy Foye, and Danilo Gallinari who provide instant offense off the bench.

7:37 P.M. EST: Jordan Hill has probably been the most consistent Laker so far outside of Kobe. He has put up five straight double-doubles. The best offensive rebounder in the game right now will look to go for his sixth straight double-double and could possibly achieve that. It will be fun seeing him and Kenneth Faried go at it all night long with their non-stop motor.

7:36 P.M. EST: Kobe Bryant also struggled with his shot last game. He will be defended by one of the better perimeter defenders in Arron Afflalo this game, but he will look to shoot the ball with better efficiency and is likely to start off with more aggression.

7:35 P.M. EST: Nick Young struggled horribly last game, as he only scored five points. He will look to bounce back, as he will make his season debut in front of the home crowd. Expect him to come out with a lot of energy, as he will feed off the enthusiasm of the crowd.

7:34 P.M. EST: Aside for Mozgov, the Lakers will have to worry about Ty Lawson's speed and ability to break down the defense. He averaged 12.0 assists last season against the Lakers, so L.A. will have to do a better job of keeping Lawson in front of them on defense to limit him from finding teammates for open looks.

7:33 P.M. EST: The Lakers, meanwhile, are coming off a blowout loss to the Dallas Mavericks and would like to bounce back, and here is their chance. The Nuggets will be the easiest team the Lakers have faced all season long. The Lakers have had the toughest schedule in the NBA so far.

7:32 P.M. EST: Timofey Mozgov. That's a name the Lakers should remember really well. He killed the Lakers last season, as he averaged 18.7 points per game, which was the highest average against any opponent for Mozgov last season.

7:31 P.M. EST: Brian Shaw makes his return to L.A. for the second time since he became the coach of the Nuggets. He is 3-0 coaching against the Lakers.

7:30 P.M. EST: Welcome to VAVEL_USA's Live of the Denver Nuggets versus the Los Angeles Lakers. The game will be played at the Staples Center in Downtown, Los Angeles.
