The Phoenix Suns bench came through huge against the Indiana Pacers as Gerald Green and Isaiah Thomas led the team in scoring with 23 and 16 points respectively.

The Suns took the lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back. Over the course of the game, Phoenix forced 14 turnovers from the Indiana offense. This type of defensive intensity will spur the Suns on to more wins in the future, especially with the scoring numbers coming from many different options throughout the game. Five different players tallied over 10 points in the game, and those scorers do not even include the likes of Eric Bledsoe, P.J. Tucker, or Miles Plumlee. Any of those players can be reasonably expected to put up 10-15 points on any night of the week. If this many players can put up scoring numbers like they did tonight, the Suns are looking at a very optimistic 2014-15 season ahead of them.

On the opposite side of the ball, the absences of star player Paul George and post man David West were key components that the Pacers were missing throughout the night. Center Roy Hibbert was forced to leave the game after only 7 minutes of playing time due to injury, leaving the Indiana team without any real depth inside the paint. Starting power forward Luis Scola only managed to score one point in his time on the floor, showing just how crucial West and Hibbert are to this Pacers team.

At the end of the night, the Suns just looked like a better, more organized group on the offensive and defensive ends of the floor, which led them to the 23-point victory.

The Suns, who have now won four straight, improve to 9-5 on the season. The injury-riddled Pacers drop to 5-8.

Phoenix takes on Toronto at the Air Canada Centre Monday, November 24, at 7:30 PM EST. The Pacers, meanwhile, will take on a tough Dallas Mavericks team on Monday at the American Airlines Center.
