Cleveland Cavaliers’ forward LeBron James has been named Eastern Conference Player of the Week, while Los Angeles Clippers’ forward Blake Griffin has been named Western Conference Player of the Week, the NBA has announced.

The Cavaliers played three games this week, in which LeBron James led them to a perfect 3-0 record, including a blowout victory over the Washington Wizards. James averaged 25.7 points, 8.7 assists, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game. James also shot over 50 percent from the field and 80 percent from the costless throw line. This is LeBron James' second player of the week this season. 

Blake Griffin and the Clippers played three games this week, all of them on the road, and went a perfect 4-0. During those four games, Griffin averaged 23.8 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 5.0 assists on 51.3 percent shooting from the field and 87.5 percent from the costless throw line. Griffin helped the Clippers gain a quality victory over the Houston Rockets on Friday and nearly had a triple-double against the Charlotte Hornets on Monday.
