Just four days after a Monta Ellis buzzer beater in Milwaukee, the Mavs and Bucks wrap up their season series on Sunday.

After a win in his homecoming versus his former team in Milwaukee, Monta Ellis looks to continue to put on a show. Monta Ellis has been on fire recently and is playing like an All-Star this season.

However, the Mavericks and Bucks are coming off of opposite results from their last games, as the Mavs had a rough outing versus Phoenix, whereas the Bucks took care of the Heat, winning easily by 24 points.

The Mavericks look to start a new winning streak tonight, after having their five-game winning streak snapped on Friday. They have won four in a row versus Milwaukee, dating back to the 2012-2013 season.

In order to win, the Mavericks will need Dirk Nowitzki to have a big game, as he has not shot over 40 percent in his last three games. With John Henson and Ersan Ilyasova still out, the Mavs bench has an advantage over the Bucks in that aspect.

Overall, this should be a close game again, and Monta Ellis should get a lot of touches yet again against his former team. It’ll be interesting to see if the Mavericks can rebound from their lone loss this month and if Milwaukee can continue their strong recent play.
