Cleveland Cavaliers head coach David Blatt is not exactly a happy man right now.

Despite the fact that his team has been improving steadily as the season advances, Blatt doesn't think the team is playing at the level they're supossed to and especially considering all the talent they have on the roster. Wednesday's night loss against the Atlanta Hawks proves the point and Blatt made sure he delivered the message speaking to the reporters after the game.

"I want to start by making an statement. It was embarrasing how we played and I want to apologize to all the fans that came out here, as they always do."

"Really it was a poor, poor performance. I'm not going to walk away from here [the press room] but that's all I have to say", Blatt said.

Blatt also mentioned that "he's having a hard time to see positives in Cleveland's game right now", that the "defense was non-existent" and that "there's no improvement on either side of the ball."

The Cavaliers currently have a 14-10 record and they're in fifth place in the Eastern Conference. However, a team that's stacked with talent and with players like LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love should be in a better place right now.

Based on the post-game comments, Blatt believes the same thing and he's clearly expecting an improved effort from his team. Cleveland's next game will be on Friday as they will host the struggling Brooklyn Nets at 7.30 PM.
