The New Orleans Pelicans win a big road game against the Houston Rockets, 99-90. Anthony Davis led the way with 30 points and 14 rebounds to go along with five blocked shots. Jrue Holiday had a double-double with 18 points and 10 assists. Dante Cunningham played well off the bench with 15 points on 6-of-10 from the field and had five rebounds, while Ryan Anderson also did well off the bench with 16 points on 6-of-11 from the field.

Tyreke Evans for the Pelicans did not play in this game, and the Pelicans were still able to get this win on the road against a very good Rockets team, who's 19-6 on the season. The Pelicans held the Rockets to only 90 points on 38 percent from the field. They also held the Rockets to only 6-of-25 from three, even though the Rockets are one of the best teams in the league in three-point makes.

For the Rockets, James Harden led the way again with 21 points on only 8-of-23 from the field to go along with seven rebounds and five assists. Dwight Howard had a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds.

Donatas Motiejunas, who has played terrific of late, had an off game, shooting just 4-of-13 from the field for a total of nine points. Trevor Ariza had 10 points on 4-of-12 from the field and 0-for-4 from three. He has been struggling with his shot of late despite his team racking up W's.

Troy Daniels put in nine points on 3-of-4 from three off the bench. The Rockets off shooting night could possibly be because they were fatigued, as the team played in a tough overtime game against the Denver Nuggets the night before, in which all their starters played over 42 minutes. The Rockets have been hit hard by injuries but are still playing well. They went 11 straight games without starting center Dwight Howard and still racked up eight wins and only three losses. They have also been without starting power forward Terrence Jones for almost the entire season.

The Rockets will host the Atlanta Hawks in their next game on Saturday, December 20th, while the Pelicans take on the Portland Trail Blazers on the same night.
