With Zach Randolph and Tony Allen sidelined with injuries, the Cleveland Cavaliers took down the Memphis Grizzlies, 105-91. This was a big win for the Cavaliers at home against one of the hottest teams in the NBA so far this season.

LeBron James led the way with 25 points on 9-of-15 from the field to go along with 11 assists and 3 threes. Dion Waiters put in a big game off the bench with 21 points on 9-of-16 shooting from the field. He had 13 of his points in the fourth quarter.

Shawn Marion added 11 points on 5-of-6 from the field off the bench, while Kyrie Irving recorded a double-double with 17 points on 8-of-13 from the field to go along with 12 assists. Anderson Varejao also played well with 18 points on an efficient 9-of-12 from the field and had seven rebounds in 27 minutes.

The Cavs shot at an extremely efficient clip from the field tonight, hitting 60.5 percent of their shots. They executed their offense to perfection. The Cavaliers also did a solid job defensively, holding the Grizzlies to only 91 points and allowed 1 three pointer all game.

For the Grizzlies, Marc Gasol led the way with 23 points on 10-of-17 from the field and had 11 rebounds and five assists. Jon Leuer, who replaced the injured Zach Randolph in the starting lineup, played well with 16 points and seven rebounds. Randolph was out tonight for the Grizzlies with a sore knee, while Tony Allen missed his third consecutive game with an eye injury.

Mike Conley chipped in with 11 points and five assists in a mere 25 minutes. Vince Carter added 11 points off the bench.

The Grizzlies, known for their grit and grind defense, did not play good on that end of the floor this game, as they allowed 105 points on 60.5 percent shooting from the field. The Grizzlies usually win games due to their exuberant defense, but that was not the case tonight. However, the absence of Zach Randolph and Tony Allen probably had something to do with it. The Grizzlies were also only 1-of-16 from three-point land, good for 6.3 percent.

The Cavaliers will host the Minnesota Timberwolves in their next game on Tuesday, December 23rd. The Grizzlies will look to bounce back tomorrow, December 22nd, against the Utah Jazz.
