Coming off a thrilling 89-88 victory over the Miami Heat Tuesday, the Milwaukee Bucks will try to use that momentum to take down the Indiana Pacers Thursday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.

In their last game, the Bucks erased a 14-point deficit in the fourth and snapped their six-game losing streak as Khris Middleton nailed the game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer.

With 10.8 remaining in the fourth, a jump ball was called underneath the Bucks rim between Jerryd Bayless and Michael Beasley. Bayless was able to tap the ball out to Middleton, who passed right back to Bayless for the game-tying layup but missed. Fortunately for the Bucks, Zaza Pachulia snared down the offensive board and passed it to Middleton, who drained the three for the improbable comeback victory.

Five players scored in double figures for Milwaukee, three of whom had double-doubles. Ersan Ilyasova was the leading scorer with 19 points on 7 for 15 shooting and 11 rebounds, while Giannis Antetokounmpo tallied 16 points and 10 rebounds and Pachulia accumulated 14 points and 11 boards.

As for their opponent, Indiana outlasted the Washington Wizards 103-101 Wednesday as George Hill scored 29 points, pulled down seven rebounds, and dished out nine assists, while C.J. Miles added 16 points for the Pacers, who snapped a six-game losing streak. John Wall, who scored 17 of his season-high 34 points in the final quarter, had tied the game on a three-pointer with 11 seconds left, but Hill’s layup with 2.7 seconds remaining proved to be the dagger. Milwaukee will need to keep Hill in check as he has averaged 22 points on 55.9 percent shooting in his last seven games.

The Bucks had already won the first meeting, 87-81, on November 4 but lost to the Pacers, 94-91, on January 2 and then again 109-103 in overtime on March 12.

In that matchup, David West hit a jumper with 2:45 left in the fourth that gave Indiana a five-point lead, but Indiana failed to score again and Illyasova had five points in the final two minutes to send it to overtime. But in the extra period, the Pacers used a 9-0 run to take a 105-98 lead, and Hill sealed the victory with two free throws with 16 seconds left. Rodney Stuckey tallied 25 points while Michael Carter-Williams led the Bucks with 28 points, eight boards, and four steals.

The upcoming game is pivotal for both teams as the Pacers are tied with Boston for the final playoff seed at a 31-40 record, while Milwaukee is trying just to hang on for sixth place and hold off five other teams, including Indiana. In fact, the Bucks were eight games above .500 and had a seven and a half game lead on the sixth seed February 20 before plunging and losing 13 out of their last 17 games.

Forward Jared Dudley has been sidelined with back spasms and is listed as questionable while guard O.J. Mayo, who has missed four games due to a sore right hamstring, played six minutes against Miami. As for Indiana, Stuckey could miss a third straight game with a sore left calf.

Tip-off will be at 8 pm Eastern Standard Time.
