Guards - Although you shouldn't expect the Bulls to sign any of the guards on the summer leaguer roster, some of the players on the roster sure can play. Vander Blue played lights out at Marquette and is a solid combo guard. Rayvonte Rice can score as well as anybody in the league. Another low-key guard to watch out for is Amare May out of Delaware St. If one of those guards shines in the summer league, the Bulls should look to add to their guard depth.

Forwards - This has to be the biggest development for the Bulls. After tearing up the summer league last year, both Tony Snell and Doug McDermott suffered disappointing seasons. McDermott's was due to an injury in December, and some blame could also be put to the lack of playing for both players. The hope in Chicago is that new head coach Fred Hoiberg will play both Snell and McDermott more and hope they develop. The other big project for the forwards is 22nd overall draft pick Bobby Portis. The Bulls chose Portis because he was the best player available and he is a very versatile player. Now it's time for Portis to show his versatility.

Centers - Cameron Bairstow and Cristian Felicio are the basically the two bigs on the Bulls roster. Bairstow will most likely be on the Bulls roster as depth at the center position and won't be getting much playing time in the regular season.

This is a great time for new head coach Fred Hoiberg to see how his skill players (McDermott, Portis) are and maybe he could find a diamond in the rough that nobody knows about. It's a big test for Hoiberg, as he sees if McDermott can make the next step in the NBA and if Bobby Portis can contribute for the Bulls in his rookie year.
