The Atlanta Hawks are continuing to receive legal woes in 2015. First, the team dealt with the arrests of Thabo Sefolosha and then-Hawk Pero Antic in front of an NYC night club in April and this month, head coach Mike Budenholzer plead not guilty to his DUI arrest in September of 2013.

To add to the Hawks' off-the-court troubles, forward Mike Scott was arrested in Banks County, Georgia for possession of marijuana and MDMA, also known as "molly." Mike's brother Antonn was the driver. According to the Banks County Sheriff's Office, both individuals were pulled over due to driving too close to another vehicle. They were in a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe on Interstate 85 and fled a traffic stop. The vehicle was going 98 mph.

Both Mike and Antonn admitted to possession of the drugs. Antonn was charged with fleeing the scene, attempting to elude law enforcement officers, and felony drug possession. The marijuana and 10 grams of MDMA were found inside their vehicle. Both of them were booked in Banks County jail and they are expected to post bond tonight. Mike Scott's bond is $8,100 and Antonn Scott's is $9,300.

Hawks' head coach Mike Budenholzer spoke on the situation. "We are aware of the situation involving Mike Scott this morning. Out of respect for the legal process, we will not have any additional comments at this time."

Mike Scott's time in Atlanta may be nearing an end soon. He struggled to receive playing time in the NBA Playoffs and his numbers decreased. His role was being overshadowed by players such as Kent Bazemore and Mike Muscala. Scott was a 2012 draft pick by the Hawks out of Virginia. He averaged 7.8 points and 2.9 rebounds for Atlanta last season. He re-signed with the team last summer on a three-year deal that is worth $3.3 million annually. Scott has an option for the 2016-17 season.
