The Verizon Center will host the 'Splash Bros' tonight, as the ever-impressive Golden State Warriors take on the Washington Wizards. The Current NBA Champions have lost just four games all season, with two of those losses coming against opposition from the Eastern Conference. Washington have had a much more average season, with John Wall's side currently sitting 10th, boasting a win percentage of .453 from 46 games.

The Klay Thompson Show

Stephen Curry often grabs the headlines, due to his chart-topping 29.4 points per game on average. However, shooting guard Klay Thompson has been the Warriors top scorer over their past three games. Thompson, who turns 26 next Monday, scored 45, 32, and 34 points against the Dallas MavericksPhiladelphia 76ers, and New York Knicks respectively over the last week. With all eyes on Curry, Thompson could capitalize tonight, a produce another stellar performance.

Importance Of John Wall

If the Wizards want any chance of winning tonight, they need John Wall to bring his A-game. The point guard is the team's highest average scorer and assister, having shot just shy of 20 points per game so far this season. He is third best in the NBA in terms of average assists per game, sitting behind Russell Westbrook and Rajon Rondo with 9.8 assists on average. Wall scored just 11 the last time the two teams met though, in a 76-107 loss last March.

Unstoppable Golden State

The Warriors are currently on a win streak of seven consecutive games, in which they have averaged just over 121 points in the process. They are already the NBA's highest average scorers this season, and their players have been rewarded, with Draymond Green selected alongside the Thompson and Curry duo for the NBA All-Star game next month.

The Warriors' two losses within their last 10 games may be their worst record of the season, but their seven game win streak is not only the best in the Western Conference, but the best in the NBA. The Warriors currently sit at 44-4 for the season, and could be heading for a record amount of wins from an 82 game NBA season.

Indifferent Wizards

The Washington Wizards are currently sitting at 4-6 for the last 10 games, having suffered losses to the like of the Toronto Raptors and the Boston Celtics. Although they suffered a disappointing loss against the Oklahoma City Thunder Monday, they will hoping to be propelled by their one point victory over the Houston Rockets the game before, when they won 123-122.

Despite having the likes of Bradley Beal and Marcin Gortat on the court alongside Wall, the Wizards have never managed more than four wins on the bounce, and because of that find themselves dwindling in 10th.

Injuries

Both sides boast a clean bill of health regarding their star players, but there are still injuries to report. A knee injury will mean Festus Ezeli will not feature tonight for Golden State. The center has averaged 7.5 points per game this season.

Kris Humphries is doubtful for the Wizards, having not featured against the Thunder on Monday due a knee injury. The 30-year-old was reported to have been in shooting practice this past weekend, but is still likely to miss out.

Tip-off is at 8:00 PM ET
