Michigan State has landed West Vriginia transfer Eron Harris. He averaged 17.2 points while shooting 42% from beyond the arc last season for the Mountaineers.

The 6'3 sophomore gaurd chose the Spartans over rivals Michigan and Purdue. He was settled to visit MSU this past weekend, but he didn't make the trip, feeling he already had a good relationship with coach Tom Izzo.

He won't be eligible to play during the 2014-2015 season, but Harris will have two seasons of eligibility left beginning in 2015-2016. His impact won't be felt right away, but he will give Izzo a verastile guard who can score at will.

"People have said I'm a bad defender, but that's actually why I was recruited," Harris said. "I'll bring a guy who is tough, a leader, can handle the ball and shoot the ball."

Michigan State lost it's three top scorers (Keith Appling, Gary Harris, and Adreian Payne) by way of graduation and NBA Draft, so Eron Harris will give the Spartans a nice boost along with the solid 2015 recruiting class.
