Point guard Jalen Brunson ended his recruitment on Wednesday by committing to Villanova. Brunson who is the No. 22 ranked player in the ESPN 100 picked Nova over heavy favorite Illinois. In his home state of Illinois he was picked as the Gatorade Player of the Year as a junior.

Brunson is a left-handed point guard who can run the fast break to perfection. Standing at 6'1" he excels at scoring through contact and finishing plays when he gets in the lane. 

When talking about his future coach, Jay Wright, Brunson said "Coach Wright puts his players in position to be successful".

When talking about what he can bring to Villanova, Brunson said "I bring leadership even though I am young. That is one of my core qualities. Also making plays and my teammates better around me."

Brunson is just the latest addition to Wright's 2015 recruiting class which has top 100 player Donte DiVincenzo and rising power forward Tim Delaney.
