#4 Louisville traveled to Western Kentucky this Saturday afternoon. The Cardinals came into the game 9-0 while the Hilltoppers were 5-4. The game was very chippy in the beginning but the refs allowed the players to play. There was a lot learned after the game because of it. Here is the game recap.

1st half: Montrezl Harrell was an absolute beast in the 1st half. He had the first 7 points for UofL and no one could stop him. Price had 7 points despite going 2 for 9 from the field for WKU. The story of the 1st half was the ejection of Montrezl Harrell. With about 40 seconds left a scramble happened on the floor which ended with Harrell getting pushed and him throwing a punch that missed a KU player. Both head coaches also got technical fouls because of the play. Harrell was granted a Flagrant 2 foul so he will not miss the next game. Louisville lead Western Kentucky 29-24 at the half.

2nd half: The game was close the entire game. Louisville went up as much as 14 until Western Kentucky clawed back and brought it to a 4 point game. Price lead the Hilltoppers with 24 points. Terry Rozier erupted for the Cardinals when they most needed it as he scored 32 points in the game. He made big time 3's toward crunch time as he was the next man up when Harrell left. The Cardinals went 26-30 from the costless throw line as they pulled away and won 76-67.

MVP: Terry Rozier looked like the best player on the court by far. This is a great sign for Louisville. He proved that he can be the go to scorer when Montrezl Harrell is in foul trouble or goes down with an injury.
