Craig Victor is a 6'9" 230lb forward who was ranked as the #37 recruit by ESPN in the 2014 recruiting class. ESPN also tabbed Victor as the #9 power forward, as well as the #1 overall player from Louisiana. Victor originally chose Arizona over LSU, Kansas, and Oklahoma State when he committed. It is rumored that Victor gave serious consideration to joining LSU right out of high school.

It is believed that the reason for the decision to transfer, is due to the fact that Victor is not receiving the playing time he would like. With power forward Brandon Ashley starting, Dusan Ristic being the second option at the 4, and having five star recruit T.J. Leaf committed for 2016, Victor has decided to transfer and be closer to home.

Victor is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. Victor played high school ball at St. Augustine High School in New Orleans until he was a junior. As a freshman Victor led St. Augustine to a state title in where he and his team would suffer a 58-41 loss at the hands of Peabody. Victor would average 14.1 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 3 blocks per game as a junior at St. Augustine. These numbers would earn him first team all-state in Louisiana.

Victor is no stranger to changing schools as he left St. Augustine to play his senior year at Findlay Prep in Nevada, the same school that 2013 first overall pick Anthony Bennett attended during his high school days.

Victor will become a part of an incoming class that includes five star prospects Ben Simmons and Antonio Blakeney.
