The LSU Tigers were handed their second loss in conference play as Texas A&M came into Baton Rouge and edged out a win against a very tough Tigers team.

For LSU, things would start out good and stay that way for most of the game. It would be star forward Jordan Mickey doing what LSU fans almost expect him to do, and that's have a big game. The Texas native scored 17 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, and blocked 7 shots. His frontcourt partner Jarell Martin, would only manage to score 12 points, but he collected 8 rebounds as well. Darcy Malone started his second straight game at center in place of senior John Odo. Malone would only score 4 points and collect 3 rebounds in 21 minutes of play.

For the Aggies, Jalen Jones and Danuel House would lead the way. Forward Jalen Jones scored 18 points and had 9 rebounds, almost mirroring the game of LSU's Jordan Mickey. Danuel House also scored 18 points as he tied Jones for leading scorer on the team. Both House and Jones were both key pieces in the win for the Aggies as they managed to leave the "Deaf Dome" with a win.

The biggest takeaways from this game is that Texas A&M got a really good player when they welcomed University of Houston transfer Danuel House onto the team. The Aggies will continue to look to House as they continue on in SEC play as they take on Missouri. For LSU, sophomore forwards Jarell Martin and Jordan Mickey will continue to be the stars of the show as Johnny Jones continues to decide on who to play at center. Next up for LSU is the Florida Gators.
