Alabama and Auburn always have an entertaining game no matter the sport and that's exactly what Saturday's game was. An exciting game that ended up coming down to the wire and who could fight through the physicality.

Alabama made a terrific come back and had the game tied with 20 seconds left and the ball. Levi Randolph decided he was going to be the hero and shot a rather off balanced three and the shot fell off the rim right into the hands of Rodney Cooper. Cooper caught the ball and quickly put it back up and hit the game winner with five seconds remaining.

Randolph scored seven of Alabama's final nine points to give the Crimson Tide enough energy to surmount the comeback. Alabama was down by eight points at most in the second half after Ricky Tarrant left the game with a second technical foul with 8:11 left in the game.

Auburn had a solid hold on the game until Tarrant's ejection. Alabama used that emotion and attacked Auburn from the inside. Alabama drew fouls and converted when they got close to the rim to secure their bragging rights.

Alabama will travel to face Auburn again on Feb. 17 in the second part of their series.

Cinmeon Bowers- Was a presence down low scoring 14 points and collecting eight rebounds. Bowers gave Auburn energy due to his play and how he carried himself in the game.

Levi Randolph- Randolph went on a scoring tear in the second half and ended with 18 points to go with seven rebounds and two assists. He made sure his impression on the game wouldn't just come in scoring.

Ricky Tarrant- Tarrant was forced to leave the game early due to his ejection but he had nine points and was 6-6 from the foul line when he left. Had he not been ejected though it could've been a different story for Alabama.
