Kentucky has ruled college basketball all season with no surprise. Virginia has an extremely difficult schedule coming up. Who will remain undefeated? Here is the Vavel Top 20 poll and how each team stacks up so far.

1. Kentucky Wildcats (AP #1) - The Wildcats are the kings of college basketball. No one has been able to push them off their throne. Their schedule looks favorable as the SEC is very weak this season. This week at Missouri, - Alabama.

2. Virginia Cavaliers (AP #2) - These upcoming weeks will be big for UVA. They welcome Duke this week as it's their only game. The team who comes out on top will be the true top team in the ACC. This week - Duke.

3. Gonzaga Bulldogs (AP #3) - They are the least talked about team in the country. Quietly they have only lost one game, and it was to a quality Arizona team. Kyle Wiltjer and Kevin Pangos are wrecking teams in conference play. This week - Portland, - Memphis.

4. Duke Blue Devils (AP #4) - Everyone thought Duke was done for after two straight losses. But they have a very tough schedule this week as they play two top 10 teams. This is what can push them to title contenders again if they win. This week at Notre Dame, at Virginia.

5. Wisconsin Badgers (AP #5)- Even without their starting point guard the Badgers still look like the top team in the Big Ten. Michigan provided a scare into them but they still prevailed. No other team can really challenge for their top spot. This week at Iowa.

6. Arizona Wildcats (AP #6) - Arizona is a very curious team. They look like the top team in the Pac-12 despite Utah is still peaking. Their schedule this week isn't difficult, and it shouldn't be for a while. This week - Oregon, - Oregon St.

7. Villanova Wildcats (AP #7) - Who would of guessed Georgetown would put a smack down on Nova? Villanova is still the best in the Big East by a far margin. But it will be interesting how they hold up in the big dance. This week at DePaul.

8. Kansas Jayhawks (AP #9) - They have the top RPI in the country even though Kentucky destroyed them. The Big 12 title will always come through the Jayhawks even when they seem down. What happen to Texas challenging Kansas? This week at TCU, - Kansas St.

9. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (AP #8)- The Irish had a close call against NC State but their offense dug them out of the hole. If they want to seem like ACC contenders then they have to defeat Duke at home this week. This week - Duke, at Pittsburgh.

10. Louisville Cardinals (AP #10) - Louisville shot their best percentage all season at Pitt. They have a rematch with UNC on Saturday that could provide more answers about this inconsistent team. This week at Boston College, - North Carolina.

11. Utah Utes (AP #11) - Even though Arizona defeated them can they still win the Pac-12? If Delon Wright is on his game, they can beat anyone in the country. UCLA should be a solid win for them if they prevail. This week at UCLA, at USC.

12. Wichita State Shockers (AP #12) - The Shockers have their most difficult game for the rest of the season this week. Ron Baker is in the talk for POTY and will take this team far. Going undefeated for the rest of the season is possible. This week - Loyola (IL), at Northern Iowa.

13. North Carolina Tar Heels (AP #13) - They are as hot as anyone in the country. UNC already defeated Syracuse and have to get ready for a rematch with Louisville. Best believe Louisville will put up a hard fight. This week - Syracuse, at Louisville.

14. VCU Rams (AP #14) - The Rams cause so much havoc and are in good position for the tourney. Their offense isn't there but they are as good on defense as anyone in the country. VCU could rise into the top 10 soon. This week - George Washington, - Richmond.

15. Maryland Terrapins (AP #16) - Maryland got clobbered at Indiana in a big game. They are still the second best Big Ten team but they are struggling. Melo Trimble is one of the best freshman in the country also. This week at Ohio State.

16. Iowa State Cyclones (AP #15) - What a big drop by the Cyclones. They played themselves into the top 10 just to free fall. Hopefully, they can bounce back with two big games upcoming. This week - Texas, - TCU.

17. West Virginia Mountaineers (AP #17) - Wow, they got lucky against TCU last week. The Mountaineers are still among the best in the Big 12 but they still have to prove it. This week at Kansas St, - Texas Tech.

18. Northern Iowa Panthers (AP #18) - Wichita State is their biggest game of the season. If they win that game, they will prove that they belong in this weekly rankings. This week at Southern Illinois, - Wichita State.

19. Dayton Flyers (NR) - Where did the Flyers come from? They have silently been having a great season ever since being Cinderella last year. They will be a tough out this season in the tourney. This week at UMass, - Fordham.

20. Baylor Bears (AP #20) - Another Big 12 team? The Big 12 is the deepest conference in America and Baylor is proving why. Rico Gathers seems to be the best rebounder in the country. This week at Oklahoma St, - Texas.

Other teams receiving votes: Colorado State, Ohio State, Indiana, Arkansas, Georgetown, and Texas.
