This week’s poll has the exact same top 10 as the AP poll which comes to no surprise. Kentucky remained undefeated last week with no surprise. Wisconsin was a projected one seed until they lost to Maryland. This is the last week until tournament week for the major conferences. March Madness is here, and it couldn’t be more exciting.

.Kentucky Wildcats (AP #1) – No one has stood a chance against the Wildcats this season so far. They are still the only remaining undefeated team and is already 29-0. Arkansas was supposed to give them a challenge, but they ended up blowing them out. Cauley-Stein is the best defensive player in the country and is the reason why it’s so tough to score against the Wildcats. They also clinched the SEC regular season title with the win. This week at Georgia and - Florida.

.Virginia Cavaliers (AP #2) – No Justin Anderson? No problem, as UVA clinched the ACC regular season title. They looked a little shaky this week against Syracuse as they struggled to score early. No matter how bad their offense is, their defense will keep them in games. Playing at Louisville won’t be easy this week, but it shouldn’t be too difficult. They have the best chance to win the ACC tournament and is a guaranteed one seed. This week at Syracuse and at Louisville.

.Duke Blue Devils (AP #3) – The Blue Devils are playing as good as anyone in the country right now. Jahlil Okafor is continuing his dominant season, proving to be their best player. This team isn’t deep by any means, but their starters are just good enough to beat any team. Justice Winslow is coming into his own, and Tyus Jones isn’t playing too bad either. This team has a great chance to win the ACC tournament. This week - Wake Forest and at North Carolina.

.Villanova Wildcats (AP #4) – Nova is now on the one seed line for the NCAA tournament. The Big East is theirs to lose and there is no one taking it from them. Butler and Providence could challenge them, but they are head and shoulders above the rest. They have one of the best centers in the country and their starting five is as good as any. This team will be dangerous in March. This week at Creighton and at North Carolina.

.Arizona Wildcats (AP #5) – Fresh off a big win at Utah, the Wildcats are on the outside looking in for a one seed. They won the Pac-12 regular season title and will be playing Utah more than likely again in the conference tournament. Stanley Johnson is the Pac-12 POTY hands down and will be an All-American when it’s all said and done. They can compete with anyone in the country and will be in the mix for a national title. This week - California and - Stanford.

.Wisconsin Badgers (AP #6) – The Badgers were knocked off against Maryland last week and the game wasn’t pretty at all. Frank Kaminsky showed out the next game against Michigan State scoring 31 points. He is now the front runner for the POTY in the Big Ten and the entire country. They have fallen to the two seed line for the NCAA tournament but can still contend for a Final Four. The finale at Ohio State will be a big challenge for them in their last game of the regular season. This week at Minnesota and at Ohio State.

.Gonzaga Bulldogs (AP #7) – BYU was able to upset the Bulldogs last week in a shocker. They have no more games this week leading into the conference tournament. They still claimed the top seed in their tournament. Kyle Wiltjer is a guaranteed All-American and will lead them in the NCAA tournament. BYU defeated the Zags at home, providing the first bad loss for them. This week they have no games scheduled.

.Wichita State Shockers (AP #8) – The Shockers defeated Northern Iowa to claim the conference title. The game wasn’t even close as Wichita State looked dominant for the most part. They have momentum heading into the conference tournament and will be fine in March. Ron Baker is the leader of the team and will be a huge matchup advantage in the NCAA tournament. This week they have no games scheduled.

.Kansas Jayhawks (AP #9) – The Jayhawks have now won 11 regular season titles in a row. Despite their recent struggles, they were still able to clinch the Big 12 on Tuesday night. The Jayhawks lost Cliff Alexander due to ineligibility issues earlier and Perry Ellis went down with a knee injury in the first half against West Virginia. He didn’t return as Kansas came back down 18 points to defeat West Virginia in OT. This week - West Virginia and at Oklahoma.

.Maryland Terrapins (AP #10) – The Terps launched themselves into the top 10 as they defeated powerhouse Wisconsin. Dez Wells launched himself into the All-American conversation as he is destroying the competition. Melo Trimble will also be an All Big 10 member even as a freshman. They are playing fantastic heading into March and could earn a two seed if they win out. This week at Rutgers and at Nebraska.

.Notre Dame Fighting Irish (AP #12) – The Irish are one of the best offensive teams in the country, but their defense is what hurts them. Jerian Grant is up for the POTY award in the ACC and the nation. The Irish will have to stop Montrezl Harrell and Terry Rozier if they hope to pull off an impressive victory. They lost to Syracuse at home last week that showed a weakness in their defense. This week at Louisville and - Clemson.

.Northern Iowa (AP #11) – The Panthers snuck into the top 10 last week but a loss at Wichita State moved them down the poll. Seth Tuttle is the only consistant player on the team and will carry a huge load in March. They can still challenge Wichita State for the conference title but it will take a lot more effort. This week there are no games scheduled.

.Utah Utes (AP #13) – They missed out on a big win at home against Arizona. They will still be a two seed in the Pac-12 tournament, but it would’ve been a huge resume win. Delon Wright is up for POTY and deserves it more than anyone. The Utes lack an inside presence that could help them win games coming down the stretch but their defense is fantastic. Watch out for Utah in the NCAA tournament, they are a dangerous team. This week at Washington State and at Washington.

.Louisville Cardinals (AP #16) – The Cardinals defeated Florida State in impressive fashion turning some heads around the country. They have the toughest two game stretch this week with Notre Dame then Virginia at home. If the Cardinals are able to knock off both teams, watch out. Montrezl Harrell is one of the most dominating players in the country and Terry Rozier has been on the rise lately. This week - Notre Dame and - Virginia.

.Baylor Bears (AP #14) – The Bears are on the rise despite losing to Texas. Rico Gathers is the best rebounder in the country and should be in All-American discussions. The Bears will be a dangerous team in the Big 12 tournament and could contend for the title. A Sweet-16 would come as no surprise for the Baylor Bears. This week at Texas and - Texas Tech.

.Oklahoma Sooners (AP #15) – The Sooners are a guaranteed lock for the NCAA tournament and will be a dark horse in the Big 12. They have a great balanced attack on the offensive and defensive side. Buddy Hield is playing fantastic basketball and will be the Sooners most reliable player. They will be a dangerous team in March. This week - Oklahoma and at TCU.

.Iowa State Cyclones (AP #17) – The Cyclones made an improbable come from behind win last week and really needed it. Georges Niang will be a first team all-Big 12 selection without a doubt. They had a chance to possibly clinch a share of the Big 12 title but hurt themselves by losing. They are still a team to watch coming down the stretch though. This week - Oklahoma and at TCU.

.North Carolina Tar Heels (AP #19) – The Tar Heels suffered a tough loss against NC State which hurt their stock. Marcus Paige has yet to find his groove all season but has a chance to rebound this Saturday. Saturday is huge as they face Duke again in Chapel Hill. They have the talent to compete with anyone, but they might not be physical enough. This week at Georgia Tech and - Duke.

.Arkansas Razorbacks (AP #18) – The Razorbacks took a beating to Kentucky which was their one chance to prove themselves on the national level. Bobby Portis will anchor the offense in the paint as they advance in the SEC tournament. They are a lock for a single digit seed in the NCAA tournament. This week at South Carolina and - LSU.

.West Virginia Mountaineers (AP #20) – WVU has been a confusing team all season as they have great wins against Kansas but have lost some head scratchers. Baylor embarrassed the Mountaineers but with Juwan Stanton they won’t advance far in March. They are still a lock for the tournament though. This week at Kansas and - Oklahoma State.
