Damian Jones of the Vanderbilt Commodores will return to Vandy for his junior year after consulting forgoing the rest of his college career to enter the NBA through the 2015 NBA Draft.

Jones started at center as a sophomore this past season for the Commodores, leading the the team in scoring (14.4 PPG), rebounding (6.5 RPG), and blocks (2.0 BPG). During his freshman year in 2013-2014, Jones averaged 11.3 points and 5.7 rebounds. 

The 6'10" center led to his Vandy team to a 21-14 record, good for seventh in the SEC with a 9-9 conference record. He was named to the All-SEC first team and the All-SEC defensive team by the conference's coaches. The Commodores qualified for the NIT, and lost to Stanford in the quarterfinals round. 

Damian Jones will most likely be a high draft choice prospect after his junior year if he decides not to graduate from Vanderbilt.
